Well the best way to sum up this beautiful place is that it was like a moment living inside an interior design coffee table book - all perfectly executed rustic-luxe and with a situation and views to die for. Spacious, comfortable with every detail considered. Silke and Andreas were so kind in bringing us fresh pastries from the cafe down the road each day and gave us tips on where to head in our little hire car, booked us a restaurant and wine tasting and also are just thoroughly lovely people to sit and chat with. The peace, the bird song, the gardens landscaped with jasmine, lemon trees, lavender and rosemary bushes, butterflies everywhere by day and glow bugs at night. We did not factor in enough time just to enjoy this place, waft around in the gorgeous pool and do nothing but stare out at the hills. The bed and furnishings are so comfortable and beautiful.

Silke & Andreas are so friendly and lovely! After 2min we already felt like home.. they helped us out with the things we wanted to do and visit. They did everything to make our stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. The suite and garden are magical and comfortabel. We have stayed in a lot of places before but this is on the top of our list, nothing to add. Comfortable, clean, amazing area, lovely pool, great hosts... what else do you need? We’ll be back for sure!

We just loved everything at the stunning Villa Montanare. It feels unreal, like in a perfect movie of Tuscany. You arrive and the lovely owner Silke and Andreas welcome you so warmly like an old friend. You feel the positive energy of this silent and peaceful place which is standing alone on a hill with amazing views in all directions, but still close enough to visit the great restaurants which the owner recommended. Our suite was huge with very tasteful - stylish but authentic- furniture and decor. Everything in the suite and all around was well maintained and very clean. We never have seen a perfect place like this. Too bad we need to leave already, but we will coming back soon. Grazie mille Silke & Andreas for being such wonderful host.
