Our experience was great! It is centrally located & within walking distance to everything. The only suggestion would be that they provide more bath towels and a curtain to shut out sunlight and provide more privacy at night. We didn’t realize you could see people in the bathroom at night until halfway through our stay. Oh well I guess our neighbors got a little show! Lol

Dealing with Graham and all the staff at El Faro (especially Eber) was truly a great experience. This is by far the best property in Playa Del Carmen and I will be staying again soon.

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. Perfect location. Restaurants and shopping within a few minutes walk. Pharmacy and convenience store just outside. Had a beautiful pool and right on the beach. Beautiful views from our balcony. Maid service every other day worked out great for us. Fresh towels, bedding and thoroughly cleaned. Host was terrific and front desk staff and security staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend and plan to return again in the near future.

We had a wonderful stay. The unit was well kept, clean and comfortable for a 7 day stay. The air conditioner was as cold as you wanted. The kitchen had just enough for cooking in. The showers were good as well.

Graham was incredible to work with, answers calls and texts within minutes. Very comfortable accommodations. Very pleased with supplies in condo. We had groceries delivered that day, it was worth the $25 fee to have our goodies waiting. All of the ash Guerrette parks are 10 minutes, and $14 cab ride. Do not pay the small fortune to add transportation to those excursions. Taxis are waiting one block away at all times Location cannot be beat if you plan to spend time on 5th eating and shopping. For excursions, use the booth right outside the main door, Manuel was very attentive and accommodating. I do feel I need to mention the pool is not heated and no hot tub. So all the time I thought the kids would spend in the pool where I could see them from the balcony, turned out to be zero. We visited late December

I almost hate to give this place a great rating because I don’t want people to book up this gem before me! Place is perfectly located for everything. Graham is an awesome host , always quick to answer and accommodate! We will definitely return!

Two of us spent 10 days at this condo in January 2020. Condo, facilities and location was great. Nice beach and easy access to 5th Ave. Added bonus having the gym facility 15 steps from the condo. Owner was very quick to respond to any questions. We enjoyed our stay.

The condo is very nice and good location one block from 5th Avenue and we went to Walmart for groceries walking, is a very good location pool was good , nice people , good go back and Graham was very nice in replying fast to any questions I had, thank you I recommend this condo

We staid there last week, everything was as a listed and more. Clean, secure, great location, close to everything. I will stay again.

The property was beautiful, and security was excellent. I was hesitant to stay in a low unit, but it would have been fine. The gym was clean and well kept. My only complaint was that our televisions would not work in our unit. The staff couldn’t get them fixed either.

This place is perfect! - Close to the action yet quiet - Right on the beach with a really nice pool - Fantastic view from the balcony/master bedroom - Very clean - Always felt safe (there are security guards on site) - Friendly staff who clean the condo every other day - Filtered water in the condo Additionally, Graham was great at communicating and very helpful. I couldn't recommend this place enough!

This condo is in a great location in playa del Carmen !! Graham was great to rent from he responded quickly to my messages !! 1 block from 5th ave . Great restaurants in walking distance , Starbucks up the road Great location!!

Great property located close to the heart of town, yet quiet. Condominium located nicely, close to pool and ocean. Quick resolve when call made for assistance with cable (for World Cup). Condo is nicely appointed and outfitted; the A/C is perfect; appreciated every other day cleaning. The addition of the cold, filtered water was terrific! Would like a few more coffee cups available, but that is the only request I have. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to stay with 4-5 ppl. Plug: We swam with whale sharks and it was fantastic!

Description was exact! place was amazing... not far from 5th street (store and restaurants) security everywhere that I loved the most. It’s felt safe even alone! Easy and very helpful if I had any questions. I will come back again for sure thank you so much for a awesome family trip!

The property is safe and clean. The staff is outstanding

The resort and accommodations were very good. Property was well maintained and security was excellent - which is very important. Location was also great for walking to dinner and shopping. The only downside I would mention is the beach was not great. The seaweed was a problem and it was not being removed at the rate coming in. Made the ocean not really accessible unless you were in dirty looking water. Outside of that - great resort and stay.

This beautiful property was even better in person than it looks in the posted pictures. Our family (my husband and I, along with our 6 and 3 year old kids) had the best time staying here!! The pool and grounds were beautiful, the views, breathtaking!! Not only that but dealing with Graham from the moment we booked until we left was a real treat. Also, the man working the front desk was always helpful and happy. All staff were fantastic!! Any time we needed anything, it was addressed and taken care of right away. Finally, the location of this property cannot be beat!! So close to 5th Ave yet quiet at night. We’re already looking forward to booking here for next year!! Thank you so much, Graham, for allowing us to stay in your amazing property!!

My fiance and I stayed at Reef 305 in the middle of February 2018 with another couple and overall, we enjoyed our time in Playa Del Carmen. I highly recommend using the grocery delivery service. Pros - Responds quickly to messages - Location of the condo can't be beat. 2 minutes and you're on 5th Ave with so many restaurants and bars - The kitchen is very well equipped with everything that you would generally use at home. There is also a 20 L water cooler provided to you at no extra cost and the condo front desk will replace it as it empties, also at no additional cost - There is a foam cooler ~2'x1'x1' which is plenty for several beverages and ice - Each room has its own air conditioning unit - Cleaning service every other day to change out sheets, provide fresh bath and beach towels, and toilet paper. They even provide you with mini shampoo, body wash, lotion, and conditioner like you would find in a hotel Cons - Our driver had some difficulty finding the condo, as did the other couple's driver and the address of the condo didn't really seem to help much. Luckily, I studied a map of the area and we spoke Spanish so when I felt the driver had gone away from the area, we were able to direct him back to the general area. - The salty air has not been friendly to the hardware in the bathrooms and the caulking in showers were moldy. The space under the shower door and the angle of the shower head makes for a wet bathroom floor - Apparently, there was a storm a few days prior to our arrival which brought in piles of seaweed and washed away some parts of the beach. To our dismay, the seaweed was just piled up by some community service people and left on the beach for the entire week we were there. Finally, a tractor on our last day came to pick up the seaweed. - The shoreline is very rocky for about 15-20 ft from the shoreline. If you swim out near one of the buoys, there is a nice sandbar that is only about knee-deep when there aren't waves. Unfortunately, there aren't any reefs to help break up waves so the water tends to be more rough. - The front desk stated that the pool/beach chairs cannot be reserved and should you place a towel or your personal belongings on a chair and walk away from the pool/beach area, you have 30 minutes to return otherwise the condo security will take them to the front desk. Unfortunately, so many towels were placed on these chairs early in the morning for several hours and not once did we see the security remove them.

We absolutely loved our stay in Playa Del Carmen. We had tacos and guac every day. The location couldn’t be better for walking to all the restaurants and activities. We scuba dived just off the beach and just had the most relaxing vacation. We will be booking this condo in the future for our family! Thank you!!
