We chose to stay at this VRBO for the weekend of our daughter's wedding in DC. It was even better in person than it showed on the listing. Every bedroom had it's own bathroom plus a 1/2 bath downstairs which was a huge plus for our group. As soon as we arrived our host, Rick, greeted us and gave us a quick tour and information of how to access the property from front and back. Super easy and convenient. Everytime I had a question, he was quick to respond. I spoke with Rick and Janet several times before we arrived to ask questions and they responded very quickly. They even went out and purchased champagne flutes when I asked if they had any available. So kind!l The beds were very comfortable and the rooms very cozy. Each closet had hangers and a hanging organizer if you needed extra room to unpack. The house was decorated nicely and had all the ammenities we needed. It is a 3 story house so there are a lot of stairs. The garage parking was a huge plus (if you've never visited DC before, finding street parking is a pain) So private, enclosed parking is a selling point for me! It's very close to Whole Foods and several coffee shops within walking distance. It is DC so you have to be careful. It snowed a lot while we were there and I just happened to open the blinds early Friday morning and found Rick out in the freezing cold shoveling off the stairs for us. So appreciative of that! I loved this house and would definitely stay here again!

This home had everything we needed to feel comfortable. Plenty of cookware, cleaning supplies, bedding, toiletries, etc. it was also walking distance from CVS, Whole Foods, and nice restaurants. It was spacious so everyone could have their own privacy and there were nice desks/working areas provided if you needed.

A wonderful location with stores and restaurants walkable on H Street. Short Uber rides to many museums and attractions. Rented a car but never used it. Garage space was available.
The only negative was due to our ages all over 70. Pack lightly ( small suitcase ) since all bedrooms are on 2nd or 3rd floor

The property was wonderful. It was a great location, lovely, well furnished and the downstairs rooms kitchen, parking, and bedrooms were great. We had all of the amentities that we could ask for. Our only problem was that we could not figure out how to get into the front door when we arrived late at night. It was dark, and the directions to enter the front door were not clear to us. From our viewpoint, it needs to be VERY clear that you need to tap the bar BELOW the numbers, not the round spot in the center of the numbers after you enter the code. I do understand that the owner tried to contact me while we were struggling, but I had not turned my phone off airplane mode. We did not have the key to the back door at the beginning of the stay, but that was an easy fix for us.

This luxurious home is perfect for visiting the museums and Capitol area. We chose to travel by Uber and the rides were easily obtainable and short. The Whole Foods a few minutes walk away made food logistics so simple. The neighborhood itself is attractive and peaceful.
The house is spacious and well laid out. Each bedroom (with its own bathroom!) provided a lovely and private retreat. The main level had plenty of room and was well set up for meals and socializing. It is hard to imagine a better place for an extended family or group of friends to vacation in the DC area.

This charming row house in a safe, leafy DC neighborhood is perfect for multiple adult couples. Each bedroom had its own full bath and the layout (2 BRs on the 2nd floor & 2 BRs on the 3rd floor) afforded privacy. The first floor gathering place was spacious enough for all 6 of us to watch movies.
We did not have a car and did not need one. Whole Foods was a block away to stock up on breakfast items, drinks, and snacks. Union Station was a 10 minute walk and a close Metro hub. There were multiple local restaurants to walk to, and we had pizza delivered 1 night.
The hosts are wonderful, gracious people who live close by and obviously enjoy welcoming travelers into their home and city. The neighbors were friendly, walking their dogs and pushing strollers.

This was our kids first visit to DC and the property just added to what an incredible time we had! The location is so great and the home is well appointed with all the items we need for our family of 6! The location to Whole Foods and CVS made things very easy. We used ride share the whole time their but having secure parking for our vehicle was a huge plus. Anyway, cannot say enough for this property!!!

We were a family group of seven. Son and daughter in law, three grandchildren ages 16, 15, 12 and my wife and I. This home was perfect. Each bedroom had its own bath and shower and the home was spotless. The location was excellent. Close to the Mall, Capital, White House and Smithsonian’s. Would highly recommend for family or multi couple visit to DC.

Our family of 7, 5 adults & 2 teens, had a great time here. Plenty of space & bathrooms. We walked to/from Union Station (15 min) each day to tour the city, metro trains were easy to navigate. Buses stop on the corner, that use the same metro cards, but we had a harder time figuring their schedule so always walked to the trains. Whole Foods grocery, Walgreens & restaurants like CAVA (Mediterranean) & Big Board (delicious burgers) right around the corner. Would stay here again.

This was the perfect place for our group of four couples to spend a week exploring Washington DC! The owners were quick to respond to any questions. The property was very clean, beautifully furnished, and had everything we needed in the kitchen. It was an easy walk to Metro, and close to Whole Foods, Starbucks and restaurants. I very highly recommend this property!

The house was perfect for our stay. Quality bedding and furnishings meant everyone had a good nights sleep and each room had in-suite bathroom with great water pressure. Living area downstairs was ample for food prep and card games. Food and attractions within easy distance from property. We all had a great time and would not hesitate to stay here again. Thanks Rick!

We were in Washington to bury parents in Arlington National Cemetery. The house is beautiful, well equipped in a central location. We had 6 adults but could easy accommodate 8. The only caveat is for the prospective guests you must be able to handle stairs. If stairs are no impediment, look no further!

The property and location was as advertised (5⭐️). The communications with the hosts were excellent (very accommodating). We had a wonderful time on our trip to DC (2 of the 5 seniors in our group of long-time friends were Vietnam Veterans, which made the trip even more special). Hope to come back someday.

The property managers were great to work with and the house was perfect for our crew of 7 people with the youngest being 12.
It was very hot while we were there and the central AC kept the house very cool. We did not use the garage or parking space but its would be very easy/helpful if you had a car. Whole foods is a 2 minute walk and starbucks around the corner.
Walking to the capitol area is about 35 minutes.
All in all great trip.

Terrific location; charming row house neighborhood and a Whole Foods within steps. Our weather was lovely, so we enjoyed daily walks to explore the Mall, Museums, Memorials, the Capitol and the White House. Our first time to the area and this was a wonderful spot for home base. Comfy, clean, well equipped; all we needed!

This home was perfect for our visit to Washington DC! We were a group of 8 (4 adults and 4 children) and were very comfortable here. Location was great - walkable to Union Station, and very close to both Whole Foods and Starbucks. Communication with owner was fantastic, overall - highly recommend!

Our entire family including 4 adults and 3 children found this property to be perfect for our stay in DC. Very close to public transportation, and a several stores.

The property was great for a girls trip. Very clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed.
We did have to Uber most places due to the location but was worth it to have a spacious place to stay.

Property was great and room for two families visiting DC. Close enough to walk to landmarks or a short uber. Proximity to groceries was great. Comfortable, roomy, and clean.

The apartment was perfect for a family of grandparents, parents and two kids (10 and 12). It almost had a bathroom for each one of us. Let's face it that is a big plus. Spacious living area downstairs. The location is about a 15 to 20 minute walk to the Library of Congress and the Capitol. Grocery store is less than a block away and many restaurants in the area. I would highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay in this home. Me, my husband, 17yo son, 22yo son and his girlfriend, my brother, and 17yo nephew.
The home is beautiful and in a great and safe location. Neighborhood is clean and convenient with grocery, Starbucks, and restaurants close by. Easy Uber rides and public transportation from home throughout the city. Lots of things within walking distance for those that are able.
The home is well-stocked, roomy, comfy. Plenty of space for everyone with adequate privacy as well. Parking available for two cars and a public garage around the corner for extra cars.
Everything was as advertised and the owners are very responsive, helpful, and kind. Rick was actually there when we arrived and showed us around a bit.
Can’t say enough about this lovely home! I hope we can come back.

The home is beautiful, the location is great and the host were extremely nice. No real complaints. Only thing is the common areas are pretty cold this time of year.

Fantastic stay at a beautiful home. Each bedroom has a private bathroom, plus a half bath off of living room.
We came with our 4 adult children plus spouses. We had a great time visiting the attractions. Easy 15-20 minute stroll to Capitol. Union Station is a 10 minute walk, or catch the trolley. From Union station the metro takes you everywhere. Whole Foods was about 100 yards from front door. Neighborhood was safe with beautiful row houses.
House was immaculate and kitchen was fully equipped. Plenty of dishes and silverware for a full house. Rick and Jan were very attentive and accommodating. We’d recommend to anyone staying in DC

Our family of 9 ranging in age from 3mos to 62 had a wonderful time exploring DC. Plenty of local walkable restaurants w/ Whole Foods and Starbucks a block away. The townhome was very well stocked with thoughtful touches throughout like touch lights in the bedrooms, motion sensor lights on stairs and hallway, plenty of coat hooks by the front door, top-notch living room speakers, great labeling on cabinets, work desks if needed, plenty of flex seating for the living room, wonderful porches and parking spaces (not common), really soft sheets and very comfortable mattress. So comfortable my adult daughter wanted to find out the mattress brand as she loved it more than their own new mattress. We stayed at an different STR that was labeled 'luxury' but the cookware was cheap (think sticking eggs, sticking everything) and they didn't even have enough glasses for each person to have their own glass. Not the case here, the owners have provided a very well-stocked kitchen including quality pans, silverware, foil & ziplock bags. We loved our stay and the only negative we experienced was with the master shower. It is beautifully tiled but the shower controls were hard to operate - we couldn't get hot water from the overhead spout but could from the wand (not feasible to hold and wash your hair or shave at the same time). We contacted the owner but did not hear from them until after our stay (only 3 nights) so we had to use another bedroom's shower. It was also on the 3rd floor so while inconvenient, it wasn't really a problem, We would stay here again - the unit is gorgeous with great space (joint and private) for a large group like ours and the location is nice, we could see the capital from the 3rd-floor master patio.
