This property was tucked away a few blocks from Downtown Santa Fe. A convenient small grocery about 100 yards away plus food trucks down the block. Near the state capital building. A great stay and I would definitely stay there again. The only non-negative note: the living room area is at a slightly lower level than the rest of the house (two steps). I have a slight disability but was able to manage the steps with no issues. Overall, a great stay. I highly recommend it.

Bob's home is cozy, perfectly western rustic, with the kiva fireplace and Adobe finishes. The kitchen is nice and redone, as are the bathrooms. The beds are AMAZING. It's totally walkable, and we had the best time.

We enjoyed our stay in this charming example of a traditional style Santa Fe home. It’s on the edge of the state government district and less than 10 minutes from many of the old town shops and restaurants. Our few questions for the owner were responded to quickly - like how to use the fireplace - and the slow cooker he provided us was put to good use on weekends. We like hiking and were happy to find a lot of great trails within a twenty minute drive. We stayed during the shoulder season but you still need reservations for many of the restaurants but we were able to get one only a few days out. It was less than a 15 minute walk to places Coyote Cafe and Restaurant Martin but after those meals a walk was needed. If you plan to cook a meal or two, Kaune’s Market is right next door with a decent wine selection, meat counter but a limited produce selection. If you want veggies plan on shopping before 10am. They have a great chopped salad that you can order online. If you’re looking for fast convenience, there are several food trucks across the street that provide tacos, burritos, pizza, barbeque and the best donuts. We used the RailRunner, which is absurdly low priced, to take a day trip to Albequerque to visit the La Cumbre brew pub. The home is very conveniently placed to easily experience Santa Fe and the surrounding area and we thourghly enjoyed our vaca there.

A wonderful stay in this Santa Fe style adobe. Great space and ambiance. Well appointed kitchen. And kiva fireplaces on a cool and rainy evening made our stay so comfortable and cozy. The location so perfect. So close to the downtown (plaza) area that is in walking distance yet far enough to enjoy the quiet of the outside patio area. Having “drama” weather while we were there, the comfortable covered patio area allowed us to enjoy the rain, watch the clouds as we sipped our wine. And having an upscale grocery store so close, was truly an added treat to such a lovely and enjoyable stay. Thank you Bob for hosting us. We highly recommend this sweet gem.

Quaint cottage in central location. The listing pictures don’t show the beauty of the courtyard. Relaxing, comfortable rooms/bedding. Room to relax and sit down for dinner or play games. You’ll need to bring your own games as property offers none. Parking - Only space for one little car. House right ON alley.

This is now our go-to property. Bob is always helpful if needed, but usually everything is perfect and we don't need a thing. Thanks for another perfect stay.

Very convenient to walk to old town

Second time we have stayed at this property and it was just as wonderful as the first time. House is beautiful, well appointed, and the location can’t be beat.

I had a work conference at Loretto Inn. I was able to walk there within 10 minutes while my family that stayed with me could do their own thing. It made it easy on them too because there is so much to see and do very close by. We enjoyed the kiva fireplace and the separate bedrooms with bathrooms. Lovely sitting areas outside to take advantage of the great climate too. A small but well stocked grocery next door is very convenient. There are also food trucks across the street. We didn’t try them but very handy.

This is a lovely adobe home near the Plaza. It’s within walking distance of many of Santa Fe’s attractions. There’s a market just across the street that’s great for meat-based as well as plant-based diets. Bob was great with his check-in and check-out instructions. I’m definitely looking forward to coming back and staying in this lovely adobe home again. Everything in the listing was very accurate. I will say that the entrance may need a picture because we passed it because it doesn't look like a neighborhood is just behind a building. The house is less than 1/2 a mile (1.6 KM) from the plaza. There is a grocery store right if front of the property less than 30 feet (9 meters) from the gate. There are foods trucks across the street and the wood fired pizza was really good. It is a very quite street and everybody we ran into were very nice. The only thing that I wasn't prepared for was the creeks of an old house. At night I could swear I heard someone walking around the kitchen but it was just the house moving. I checked!

Property was very comfortable, nicely furnished and just a few blocks from the plaza. Living, dining and kitchen were spacious, bedrooms were cozy. My only minor complaint was the lack of blinds or dark curtains in the bedrooms.

Simply beautiful and peaceful, that's our first impression upon unlocking the iron gate. Everything about the property is delightfully classic Santa Fe...especially the courtyard and seating. We have been coming to SF for decades and have stayed at many properties. This one ranks among the top 1-2.

Property was clean and well appointed. Grocery store and food truck were a plus. We were able to get anywhere in town quickly due to location.

I’ve been to Santa Fe many times and had no idea there were houses tucked behind Kaune’s Market that would hold such charm. Beyond being an ideal location for exploring the heart of Santa Fe this home is so beautifully put together. An old Adobe with a beautiful airy remodel. Almost everything is new except the feel of the place and those beautiful Kiva fireplaces. Winter must be heavenly with a fire in the kitchen kiva. The light that comes in through the windows throughout the day takes your breath away. The courtyards are tranquil spots after a busy day including apple and apricot trees. The high back rattan chairs perfect for relaxing. A beautiful place to call home when you’re visiting Santa Fe.

Clean, well stocked and beautiful property. Enjoyed our stay very much. Would stay again. Might recommend another small floor air unit for front bedroom as it got a little warm in there.

You cannot beat the location, walking distance to downtown, the capital, great restaurants and Canyon Road. The house is spacious and beautifully decorated. We were pleasantly surprised at how well stocked it was, much better than any other VRBO we have stayed in. Our family greatly enjoyed staying here.

This property was great! It was in the perfect location. Grocery store was very close and the downtown was an easy walk. It was also an easy walk to all the great shops, restaurants and historical landmarks of downtown Santa Fe. The house was very clean, well furnished and comfortable.
