The room was so beautiful! We thought we were royalties with the frescos on the ceiling and the furniture around the room. Our room came with a fireplace. We were not allowed to use it but it was cool to have it, nevertheless. The room could fit a family with a large bed and a pull-out sofa! The hotel provided roof access where guests can see the city view. It was also by the river so every day had a romantic vibe!

We had a hard time locating the hotel at first because it was inside a compound. The entrance was in between a restaurant that the hotel owned. The room door used a key instead of the usual key card so we had to make sure that we locked the door correctly (but this is forgivable because we suppose that the management wants to keep the old-century theme).

Very central! on the river! Although we didn’t have a room with a view, the premises of the hotel have an AMAZING view of the river! The staff very friendly and nice!! Helped us with the Parking arrangements. Quiet and clean rooms! Breakfast AMAZING with a big variety of food, fruits and pastries. Coffee very good too!

The problem of this hotel is that it’s in a TLZ zone (Traffic Limited Zone). You need to have permission to drive in this zone and/or park in a car park that will communicate with the Regulators and cancel the ticket you have been given for entering the zone as you need to be very close to the gate of the hotel to carry your bags. The bathroom needs renovating. It has a “Chamber-Closet Shower” which is a bit weird. In total the hotel is a bit old and not as shinny as in the pictures. The rooms are not very spacious. we had two bags that was impossible to keep them open.

Central location - just 5 minutes on foot from Uffizzi Gallery and Florence center, beautiful river views and interior design were especially surprising. Entry to the hotel is located in the nice inner yard and not very visible from the street. This is more like a boutique hotel with premium residences beside it so overall reception, interiors and yard design complemented with city and river views are very impressive. Moreover hotel has roof top terrace for unforgettable Florence panoramic views in the evening. Breakfast at Foody Farm was superb with great choise of snacks, meals and even prosecco and I highly recommend having it for starting a busy day. Service was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable with premium linens.

Due to this is a historic building windows and frames in the room were very old fashined and entry to the washroom had 2 steps up which was OK with us but maybe worth noticing to others.

The breakfast was great! Fresh fruit,bread,croissants, quiche, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs,juices, so much food so little time, Meats, cheeses, so good. I can’t say enough about how accommodating the staff was and our view of the canal, perfect. Location, walk all of Florence or bus stops near by. We didn’t want to leave.

Facilities:bathroom cabin was broken and needed renovation. Room was dark and extra small and absolutelly different than shown in booking. No promised view to the river :D The cup of IKEA killed me. I didnt expect such a thing in 4 stars hotel!

The AC is our room didn’t work. No one believed us and they didn’t care. The bellboy even commented that our room was SUPER hot and didn’t understand why. I refuse to argue with anyone in a foreign country. They brought us a fan, which was not worth the amount of money we paid. We were on our honeymoon and it was the worst hotel we stayed at being on vacation for 3 and half weeks.

Loved the service, the location, the room, almost everything! Breakfast was at foody farm next door and superb!

Beds were a little on the hard side which was great for my partner but not my preference. Shower seemed a little old, but clean so okay for me.

We love this hotel, the location, the staff. Everything is perfect! Second time staying here! The staff in the restaurant is excellent, especially Kevin! Thank you! We will be back for sure!

air conditioning broke, two nights out of 4 were spent without AC. this was flagged to staff and agreed on a commercial gesture (free bar and no local taxes)

The location was great, close to most of the attractions and 10 minutes walk from the train station.

The reception looks nice, but the room wasn’t. The air conditioning was not working, the shower was defect, and everything related to the room was falling apart.
