We went to Amsterdam to see the Vermeer exhibition at the Rijksmuseum, so location was important. This is within a few minutes' walk of the museum, in a quiet street by Vondelpark and close to a tram stop. There is just one guest rooom in the owner's home. Our main reason for giving maximum marks is the exceptional helpfulness of our host, who stayed up until well after midnight to receive us after our Eurostar train was very badly delayed. Thank you, Ronald.

The location is exceptional..literally looking onto Vondelpark. I loved the size of the room and the access to the back terrace

The toilet is across the hall from room. Not really a big issue as gowns and slippers provided.

Ronald is a very kind host, the house is located in a superb place, and it's _the_ best value for money that I've ever seen in Amsterdam (and I live here for 9 years). Ook een prima plek voor locals die elders in de stad willen overnachten. The room was also really, really warm (and it was negative outside).

Nothing. The toilet, as clearly mentioned in the description, is across the hall, but the hall is small, so it's just two steps away. The place is ideal.

Central, clean, host was very communicative! had tv, coffee machine, kettle, mini fridge, bottle of water for us, and the other tea bits. plenty of space, and storage. easy access. Host was friendly and helpful, but didn’t bother us, great service!

The toilet wasn’t attached to the room, you had to go through a little entrance lobby, however it was private to us and was very clean and well stocked! I think I just misunderstood private bathroom for attached, so that’s my bad, but one to look out for

Sapcious room in a perfect locatin 5 minutes walk to Van Gogh museum, close to Vondel Park and other attractons. We had a lovely stay:)

though it’s on a quiet street, it’s nearby a lot of hostels so you can hear loud tourists and music especially if on the ground floor

Amazing host and a great breakfast. The location also could not have been better. Very handy to all the sights and also public transport to the airport.

Was a weird dripping sound one of the nights, maybe from a pipe. But seems like a simple fix and didn't take away from our stay or prevent us sleeping.

The location is very convenient and the room is with nice taste. The host is very kind and friendly. We enjoy the short chat with him before having the rich breakfast in the lovely kitchen.

We loved staying with Ronald! he had great recommendations and served a wonderful breakfast each morning. The room had a homey feel and was walking distance to all the main attractions in the city. The location was also very safe. We 100% recommend this stay!

The location is great, 30 mins away from the city center. If your stay is a city break, it is perfect, since you can visit the center by foot and enjoy the lovely streets of Amsterdam. Ronald, the owner of the location, is also perfect and his company during the breakfast was very pleasant, not to mention about the lovely breakfast he prepared for us. He also recommended us some good restaurants, too bad we were not able to make reservations, because Covid times. When I will return to Amsterdam, I will definitely choose this location again. Thank you, Ronald, for everything!!!!

Short walk to Museums including RijksMuseum,Van Gogh Museum. Across street to the lovely Vondelpark. Public transportation very close. Lovely old home, very comfortable. Great host and fantastic breakfast. Best for people without children since it is not a modern hotel. For us it was perfect. We loved it.

Minor issue that might bother some - Ground floor room shares access and bathroom is private but not en-suite, across hall from room.

The owner was really nice. The location is quite safe. The breakfast which the owner made was good.

There is no body shampoo.
