Jutlandia Family Resort

This is a family orientated hotel with facilities and shows geared to young children. We stayed with our daughter, her husband and our 10 and 5 year olds. They loved it. They loved the pools, the junior disco and the shows.

Food is good, big variaty. My child was very excited about the animator (please raise the salary for the man) and the activities

The rooms are good, clean, just the doors and toilet need fixing. Apparantly pools are not heated so to have a swim in october not too much of a fun especially for kids.

We chose the half-board option because we spent our days driving around the island. The room was great for a family; they provided a cot and a safety gate for the kids, and being on the ground floor right next to the pool was very convenient. The children enjoyed the disco, entertainment activities, and evening shows. There is a kitchen in the room, so we could prepare meals for the kids ourselves. There is a nice, wide beach and some small shops nearby.

The token system for drinks was completely absurd and did nothing to actually promote eco-friendliness. We would have liked more variety in the food: less deep-fried stuff and more healthy options. Breakfast and dinner were decent, though lacking in variety. We were surprised by the rule against taking anything out of the restaurant; a waitress actually took a unsweetened bread roll away from our two-year-old after breakfast. We would have liked better housekeeping. The kids' club was old and dirty; there was nothing for the children to do there, and all the toys were dirty and broken.
