This accommodation was my lucky choice. Matty & Erin are lovely hosts and extremely helpful. The communication in advance and during my stay was so easy and you will always get a reply within minutes ;-) I can highly recommend this place and will stay with you again on my next visit. The place is very clean, the beach and restaurants as well as supermarkets are all in walking distance. Thanks Matty & Erin for having me, Roman

Great location on the north west side Of Rarotonga,these villas are very well kept up,.(even thought they not brand new)But very comfortable with a little porch. Fully equipped mini kitchen,super clean and In great condition and maintained. .And they do provide you with free snorkeling gears,a splash pool, kayaks, lots of DVD films and a washing machine free of charge if you get bad weather ..And the hostess are great and super friendly and has lots of knowledge of Rarotonga Island.The only minor issue for me was These villas wasn't on the beach or front beach.,( My bad tot) ,I thought So when I did the booking)!...I should have done more research,But they do have a private Beach access just 150 meters down the road. So If you not a proper beach bum like my self who wants to see the sea from you're mini villa or porch?Go ahead and book It, You want get disappointed!

one thing is that it is very tropical with gardens etc and that lead to a lot of ants in the room. they were all through the bed and crawled on us.

The Cooks Oasis was the perfect place to start our holiday. Erin and Matty were so warm and welcoming, helped us with our enquiries and bookings. We (2 ppl) shared a villa that was spacious and well equipped as well as spotless. We really loved the beach garden to watch the sun set and snorkelling there is excellent. Fresh fruit from the garden was a special treat for breakfast. The location is quiet and not touristy, with lovely restaurants nearby. Thank you Erin and Matty xo

Wish we'd stayed longer

the villas are spacious and Erin and Matty are amazing hosts! they are very accomodating and even allow us to check out late with a small fee so us girls could get ready before the late night flight. we couldn’t be happier with the place and the convenience of it with having a car park, snorkelling and kayaks gears to borrow. We would definitely love to stay again when we get to revisit Rarotonga.

Everything! I’m sure there was another reviewer that said the same. The hospitality we received from Erin and Matty was second-to-none! They are some of the most lovely and genuine people and we were so grateful that they could have us at such short notice. We stayed in the basic studio villa and it had all that we needed for our stay. We were provided with fresh fruit upon arrival (which I inhaled) milk and a bottle of water. The studio was so CLEAN! The shower was lovely and we were even provided with small toiletries. They provide free laundry facilities and a massive collection of DVD’s and books for those rainy days. Erin even caught us on the way to the laundry to wash our towels, stopped us in our tracks, took them from us and gave us fresh towels. The location was perfect! We had chosen to catch the bus during our trip and there is a bus stop literally at the end of the driveway. And at the other end is The Cooks’ Oasis private access to the beach - an amazing spot to go snorkelling as well. Erin and Matty have snorkelling gear available to use free of charge. There are restaurants to either side of the driveway as well as The Edgewater Resort and The Crown Resort within walking distance. Close enough to the airport and main town centre as well. All in all, we had an incredible experience here at The Cooks’ Oasis. Erin and Matty really are gems and we have already expressed to them that we’re planning to come back 😅

Everything. The villa was great - clean and comfy with everything I needed, the beach was beautiful and the hosts were super lovely and helpful. Close to the airport, Antipodes and Black Rock Beach. Loved the fresh papaya from their tree!

Nothing. Bring ear plugs if the roosters bother you! I didn't mind it, I'm on holiday!

hosts were nice - easily accessible, quick to come when we 'beat the drum', good suggestions, very friendly! dogs around the area friendly had snorkel equipment + kayaks to use which was nice clean rooms + area fruit basket on arrival was a nice touch as well as the filtered water DVD and books to borrow as well!

the shower was cold for 2 of the 4 nights we were there. Pool was also smaller than anticipated air conditioner - didn't get told by hosts how to turn it on initially, had to ask if the aircon worked on the third day

Clean spacious private versatile

Lyn and Wayne are awesome hosts. The villa we stayed in for 2 nights was perfect for our stay. A lovely fruit basket was waiting on our arrival, along with tea/coffee/milk and water. Filtered water is available for guests use. A short walk to the beach, kayaks for your use and for an energy boost in the morning there is a yummy bakery just down the road. We would have stayed longer if we could. We'd definitely recommend.

Really great location as you are close enough to walk to the shops or to a few restaurants. Ine xploring the rest of the island we realised how lucky we were to be within walking distance. The host was wonderful as we arrived at 2am. She organised an airport pickup and made sure the room was ready with water and fresh fruit which was much appreciated. The next day she was helpful in lshowing us how to work out the bus stop and giving us a headsup that everything would be closed the following day so we could prepare. We found her really kind and thoughtful throughout our stay as there was an area with movies and books to borrow, kayaks to use, and a space with filtered water to fill up our bottles. We would

We liked everything about our stay with the new hosts Lin and Wayne and Mat. They are very friendly and helpful. The location is quiet, handy to the beach, bus stop pretty much at the gate, good restaurants virtually next door and a good bakery very handy as well. We had a week there and enjoyed every moment of it and certainly can recommend Cooks Oasis as a place to stay in Rarotonga

Absolutely beautiful wee oasis run by the wonderful Adele and Matt who went above and beyond to make our stay the best possible. The room was excellent and had everything we needed, very clean and well kempt. The gardens are lush and beautiful and can tell a lot of effort has gone into maintaining them. There is a lovely beach with good snorkelling just 10-20m down from the accommodation. The pool is also very nice and clean although the beach is so good we barely used it. The location is also ideal, plenty of places to eat close by and not that far from the airport. This place is truly good value for money too. If I was to return to Rarotonga I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Adele and Matt!

We just loved our recent trip to the Cooks Oasis. Would definitely reccomend anybody to stay here. Our villa was beautiful and clean. Adele and Matt went above and beyond for us. They were so helpful and gave us so much great information and tips. They have lovely wooden benches on the beach. Ideal for sunsets. Couldn't rate this place highly enough. Would love to stay here again.

We loved our stay. The location is handy to town , restaurants and rooms are kept immaculate. As soon as arrived we were treated to a whales just off the beach. This spot is definitely one of the best for whale watching. The best part of Cooks Oasis is definitely the hosts Adele and Matt…they really went out of there way to look after during our stay and we felt very welcome. We highly recommend a stay with Matt and Adele. ❤️
