L'hôtel et la plage sont toujours aussi magnifiques, mention spéciale au kid's club où le personnel est adorable et les activités originales ! merci aussi à Manesha pour le massage au spa, un bonheur absolu :) les repas (matin et soir) sont toujours aussi copieux, variés et bons c'est vraiment un point fort ici.

Le point négatif cette fois ci en réservant via booking est d'avoir eu une chambre au fin fond de l'hôtel (764) loin de toutes les commodités (restaurant, club nautique, spa, piscine pour les enfants, etc...) dommage avec un petit de 4 ans quand il faut retraverser tout l'hôtel pour faire la moindre chose. Et nous avions pris une chambre vue mer, nous avions vue au loin sur la piscine... Nous étions venus il y a quelques années et avions été mieux lotis. L'accueil n'était également pas au top cette fois-ci, assez long et fastidieux, le personnel, peu nombreux, semble assez vite débordé à l'arrivée et au départ.

The service from the rest of the team was not professional not friendly and rude. They didnt make us feel comfortable they didnt make us feel welcomed we were rushed ignored and treated badly

Staff were absolutely fantastic. In particular Nalini, Fazel and Shweta. They were fantastic with the kids and went out of their way to make our stay so comfortable.

Unfortunately the hotel couldn’t accommodate us with an inter-leading room. The staff tried their best but it just made or stay a little difficult with three small kids. Next time we book, we would like to be guaranteed inter-leading rooms.

Wow! It's hard to describe how beautiful this place is! Truly a beautiful resort. The lawns, the beach, the restaurants, the pools, the golf course... everything is amazing. I really loved the grand piano being played at night when you arrive for dinner at the main restaurant and the live entertainment. The food at the Citronella was really amazing but also really good all round in all the restaurants. The beach bar personnel were really awesome and always ready to the serve a cocktail or food, especially Asgal, he was very friendly and attentive and made us feel very welcome. Shoutout to Asgal!! The rest of the staff was also extremely friendly and helpful and always made an effort to say hallo and to help whenever we needed anything. Rooms were clean, minibar always stocked. The receiption staff was very accommodating and helpful, making all the arrangements for my day of golf. The dive centre was well equipped with new and good equipment. All and all a really awesome stay. I don't really have anything to complain about... One word of caution, if you are planning on going to swim in the sea I suggest wearing water shoes. I highly recommend Sugar Beach

the room, the services, the food diversity and quality, the location, the beach and how it was decorated, the pools, the evening shows, the fruit bar from breakfast. that we could access also La Pirogue resort facilities.

i didn’t like that the ocean was filled with algae and that they didn’t clean up the shore and water at all. i also disliked that most of the chairs from the terrace where dirty with birds poop…i never saw anyone cleaning the chairs while staying there.

The property is beautiful, well maintained and overall aesthetically pleasing to look at. The beach is clean and beautiful views again. The pool is clean and enjoyable. The deluxe sea view room had a sunset view and was spacious for two people and clean. The drinks are very overpriced (Rs175 for medium size glass of coke) even for a 5 star resort.) The breakfast and dinner buffet selection is expansive and enjoyable. The staff at the buffet are very friendly. Buddha Bar menu is pricey however, the food and service was very good. The worst experience was at Citronella. There was multiple mistakes made with our order and there was an error with our bill. The manager seemed friendly but the wait staff and pizza maker seemed annoyed. honestly, the pizza made at the buffet was made perfectly while that at Citronella was sub par. The activities team were very friendly and attentive. The spa experience was great. The staff were attentive, performed the treatments well and were friendly. The spa was also beautiful.

Experience at Citronella was not enjoyable. The hotel staff at reception and tour drivers (contracted to Sugar Beach) need to get onto the same page. We had explained the tour we want and asked reception to confirm the price and tour amendments with the driver (twice) but once we got in the car, the driver said what we requested was not possible so our tour stops were cut down but the price stayed unchanged which is not reasonable but he was not interested in hearing that we had pre-confirmed.

stunning surroundings. rooms were spacious and clean. big family pool. situated right on a beach. bar service by the pool was outstanding. good choice of water sports available.

lack of evening entertainment. bad service was particularly slow at the Buddha bar. We booked a courtesy room for our last day to check out in but this was not available when we came to use the room. We could use the spa but could not get ready to together as a family.

Grounds were beautiful and very spacious, it felt very quiet during the day. Rooms were excellent. Location is perfect, loads of space and loungers on the beach. Breakfast and dinner buffet had many options, and food quality was very good.

Only some minor things; quality of drinks could be better given the overpriced cost of all drinks (except in the Buddha Bar). Delayed check in after a long flight and no sleep and in the hottest part of the day could have been expedited.

was our second holiday there, everything was absolutely lovely and fantastic and we plan to go back. The food was great, the staff was amazing and a particular thanks and mentioning to Senranjini in the restaurant who was incredibly helpful and attentive for the entire week

it was a nice resort beside the beach

The resort is too big and doesn’t feel worth the price. The staff in the buffet would be openly arguing with their managers on the restaurant floor. They would look annoyed when you asked them for a drink. It was very slow service and very disorganised. prior to our arrival, they told us that they would send a booking payment link. they never did. we rang them to confirm and make sure they send the link to us so we could pay. They said they would send it. They never did and didn’t reply. We landed in Mauritius unsure of whether we would still have a booking there. We went for our honeymoon and just were really disappointed. Other guests also seemed disappointed in the resort
