Pretty old style business hotel

Breakfast was good with several choices of main dish, salad bar and drinks. Great location, friendly staff and very easy checkout.

There was no extra bread in breakfast.

Location is good. 15min walk to Nagoya station or you can take the bus right in front of the hotel.

This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Japan. That’s from about 30 hotels! All the comforts. Nice staff. Easy location. Would definitely stay again.

It was a little dusty, especially on the toilet roll holders. The desk chair didn’t stop from swinging back, the handle under the seat didn’t work on the first tilt setting. Minor issues.

The 1st night was a dramatic and bad experience one (Please refer the "☹️" section). But the 2nd day, after we try our luck to see whether we can be changed to a better room, the lady staff answered positively and moved us to 11th floor with good view, resulted we have a good remaining 3 nights in the hotel.

Cleanliness is a major problem. When we checked-in, we were arranged to 4th floor, a room with smell of Pizza or Toriyaki. The long table near the window has a big mark of sauce, the wall where the small dining table is were dirty with food marks. The chair also has food pieces. It is definitely not a room that meet the basic cleanliness of a hotel should have. We when to the reception and request a room change. The staff moved us to another room that is better condition (The wall where the dining table is still has food marks although slightly little compare with the 1st room). We are so tired already so we just accept it. But the room window is facing wall, giving bad pressure when staying inside the room, ended up I can't sleep well the whole night. Besides, the toilet is leaking (little bit) and whole night we can hear the sound of the water dropping. On top of that, the toilet bowl was not clean well too (the 2nd room that we changed to) and I have to clean by myself. The 3rd room that we stayed for 3 nights was better in terms of cleanliness but still has room of improvement. For us, the double bed is not big enough for 2 person.
