The Owner Francesco was very helpful and always present. The Staff were happy and always a moment away to help you with anything you need.

Where to start? Beautifull place,... we even stayed 2 nights longer than planned. Very nice resort with wonderfull staff, great food, comfortable accomodation, refreshing pool, mangrove kayaking....A little Paradise found close to Pangani.

Bahari Pori Resort is a hidden gem, along a beatiful stretch of coastline between Tanga and Pangani - ringed by trees and the ocean. Francesco, the Italian owner, has built a unique and relaxing place, full of character. Luxurious traditional bungalow style tents set in a lovely garden with fantastic sea views and a pool. The garden and mangrove close by have a great variety of wildlife and vegatation - monkeys, bushbabies, butterflies and many types of bird - including an African Eagle. The staff were extreemely kind and accomodating and made me feel very welcome - great service and fantastic Italian food. Home made pasta, pizza, bread, butter and jam. If you are looking for somewhere full of character, away from the tourist bustle, to unwind, relax and enjoy nature, good food and exceptional service - this is the spot. I extended my stay by three weeks! Big thanks to the owner and all of the staff for everything.

Lack of water, just sometimes.

We decided to stay 3 instead 1 night because it was such a relaxing place. The pizze were delicious and Francesco, the owner was so helpful with planning our next steps. We can definitely recommend this place!

It was always clean, with really friendly staff and a Manager, who was ever time there for the guests. I can only recommend this Resort!

There are many things which have been very great. The Resort is a dream place. The Tent Lodges are really big and beautiful. They are surrounded by a beautiful garden with trees and flowers. Besides our tent had the best location. In the morning we could've open the door and watch the sunrise from the bed. The view from the Tent was really nice. I love the way that Resort works. They are using solar power and designed everything typical tanzanian. So the breakfast was under a very huge baobab tree with a view to the see and the Pool. It's a perfect place for couples. If you want to surprise your partner just ask the Owner Francesco, he is always helping. So he bought a big bucket of flowers for me and we were allowed to plant them in the garden. That was a great surprise. By the way I have to tell, that I never met an Owner of a resort with such a kindness. Francesco is reachable all the time, helps you with everything, drives you to Pangani for free, orders a doctor if you feel sick and make you feel very comfortable. The whole stuff was friendly and helpful. At least I can tell that the food is great to. You can get Italian and Tanzanian dishes. In the morning and during the day you always get fresh juices. For breakfast they're having fresh and tasty homemade Ciabatta bread. We spend amazing 10 days at Bahari Pori!

Open traditional houses on a huge and wild territory at a mangrove “beach”. Francesco, the owner, will do everything to make your stay comfortable. He will cook the most awesome Italian food (pizza and pasta), and his staff will provide lovely arranged fruits and drinks free of charge before and after noon. Small swimming-pool with beach towels provided, and you can use the kayaks for free in the mangroves.

This is no beach destination. Outside is a “wild mangrove swamp”. At low tide you can walk through the mangroves to the waterline, where you can find some sandy patches for swimming. On the way you will find some natural pools with colourful fish. At high tide you can paddle by kayak through the mangroves.

This place seemed to me like an oasis and I enjoyed every bit of it. If you want to relax and feel the nature, you can´t find much better place. And yes, Francesco is the best host ever. Thank you very much and all the best to Bahari Pori!
