We absolutely loved the location and thought the cottage was very cosy, especially during the bad weather we had. It is well equipped and quiet. We would definitely stay there again.

The owners live next door so key collection was easy. The setting is beautiful with a gate from the garden to the path through the woods and around the lake. The cottage is very cosy and comfortable and, if you don't want to cook, there is a super hotel just down the path from the garden. Perfect!

This is a lovely cottage situated in a quiet but most convenient location not far from Wigan in Lancashire. It was most comfortable and warm and good walks were available close at hand.
The only thing that I did not like was no fault of the cottage owner. The entrance to the cottage is adjacent to a blind bend and I took my life into my own hands every time I drove out of the property. Driving in was no problem. One wonders if a mirror would help.
