Dorothy the Receptionist was excellent and so welcoming. The location was fantastic, so central.

The location is great - right in the centre of Henley, bus station literally in front of the hotel, train station nearby. Overall the standards are up to usual Whetherspoons, While this is not probably the best hotel in the world, everything works and is of a good quality. Breakfast is fine, not very busy in the morning.

The hotel is very very old, although renovated (probably many times), it is an old building with the quirks that old building usually have, it's a maze of doors :)

Room was accessible for a wheelchair user. Having a lift to our first floor room was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel.As an interest the lift only services the first floor. The location was exceptionally good, right in the centre of town. There are two disability parking bays outside the hotel. Blue badge holders do not have a time limit and parking is free. We occupied one of the spaces for the duration of our stay which was four nights.

Our disability accessible room was directly over the outdoor area of the hotel…it was so noisy it was impossible to sleep until the bar closed. Our room was -shall we say tired and in need of updating …chipped marked furniture , window was permanently closed for safety reason’s apparently …so no Fresh air and no air con just an electric fan in the wardrobe….stay here again and the answer is NO !

Most aspects of the hotel were good. Perhaps a refurbishment would be in order but it has great character and too much modernization might spoil it.

not as clean as it could be. poor quality of maintenance in the bathroom. Bad DIY JOB.

The bed was not comfortable. Like sleeping on hard board. Only 1 pillow each on bed. The worst part of the stay and why this review is poor is on the 2nd night the guest sleeping in next room was snoring SO loudly it was impossible to sleep. Ended up getting dressed and going to the Bar :( No point asking to b moved at that time of night. Realise it's an old building but needs the walls providing better sound insulation. Had planned on a good restful night before traveling into London for day of sightseeing.

We had a choice of breakfast from the Weatherspoons menu..it was very nice.. the location and size of the hotel and bars etc is amazing.. best Weatherspoons we have been in and there have been quite a few!

What you'd expect from a spoons, good value and unpretentious staff. To be fair all the staff were excellent.

Very old building, a bit noisy from creaking floor boards, poor fitting doors etc. Fine if you're a heavy sleeper or have some ear plugs. However the beer delivery outside my room at 04:30, which took over an hour to unload was the worst bit.
