The guest house was a delightful stay, offering a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The rooms were well-appointed and comfortable, with modern amenities that made the stay convenient. The staff was warm and accommodating, making the experience even more enjoyable. The lamb dish served at dinner was a culinary delight, tender and succulent, bursting with rich flavors that left a lasting impression.

Breakfast was absolutely amazing. So much variety and choice. Wonderful hosts to help and made fresh pancakes as well 😋

Indescribable great! I’ve never had such a friendly host in my entire life! The food was more than amazing and plenty enough. All food is freshly made from fresh product. The living room is very cozy, same as the other guests you share it with. Its amazing! The rooms are separated in tiny cottages which make it feel so private. Absolutely love it here!

I couldn't dream of a better place to enjoy every second of our trip. We were able to get one of the most magnificent Northern lights view and felt extremely welcomed by the stuff. You will also like to book at least one dinner while staying around - food quality is something that I have to mention and they are extremely flexible to prepare it whenever you´re ready. Room - just what we´ve been looking for to disconnect and enjoy the view. Comfortable bed and a very nice decoration taste. Will come back 100% - it´s a must while exploring the South part of the Iceland

Great hotel. Stylish and cozy. Dinner and breakfast are served in a common room, where all the guests can seat together. To big dining tables and a living room with a view of 2 glaciers. We didn't have dinner there, but breakfast was very good, the homemade bread and pancakes were delicious, and the vitamin shot was great!

If I were to say something I didn't like, is that to get your hot shower, you need to first open the water tap from the sink until it gets hot (about 4 to 5 minutes after), what a waste of good potable water.

This was our most expensive room on our trip. Think it could be a stunning location, unfortunately we arrived and left in the pouring rain and mist (not the fault of the guesthouse!) so we didn’t see it at its best.

we loved the modern rooms and amazing common areas. the staff were so friendly and accommodating. they were welcoming, were well prepared for us and the breakfast was amazing! it was away from the main road and light pollution which allowed the visitors to see the northern lights right from there!

we travelled there at night and seemed like you were lost but the GPS got us straight there.

Loved absolutely everything about our stay at Glacier View Guesthouse. The hospitality was out of this world. We felt so at home and so taken care of throughout the entire stay. From the moment we walked in we felt so at home! They were very accommodating and flexible with us and adapted to changes we had to make due to a large storm rolling through. We also personally heard them on the phone with their other arriving guests to make sure they knew about the storm. The common area smells of freshly baked bread and treats since they make the breakfast spread and dinner homemade every day. The entire vibe was warm and cozy and we wanted to stay forever. The food was SO delicious, I still can't stop thinking about it. I would recommend this place to anyone who comes to Iceland, thanks for such a great stay!

a bit remote, 30 minutes drive either way for closest towns/restaurants also the gravel road leading in (several miles) was pretty rough, had to drive super slow

The guesthouse is small scale and there's a lot of attention to all the guests with a warm welcome and excellent traditional 'happy marriage cookies'.

The only thing was the gravel road to the place but then again that makes it an adventure as well and it's very doable with even a small car when driving slow.

Best breakfast in Iceland! We had the warmest welcome, our staff was polite, kind, knowledgeable. Rooms were sparkling clean, beds were extra comfy and we couldn’t recommend it more

The location is nice, there is almost no light pollution, good for Northern lights. Breakfast is richer than usual Icelandic, there was smoked salmon and some tuna salad. The hosts are nice.

The water pressure in the shower is a bit weak. Dinner is expensive even by Icelandic standards (we didn't take one).
