Sir Adam made our stay perfect! It is modern, clean and comfortable. The standard is 10/10 for the price that you pay. The staff are ready to help at any moment. We got engaged during our stay, and the hotel were so sweet! They provided us with many complimentary gifts and communicated well with my partner who prepared surprises in the room. The food at the butcher was fantastic, and ordering it to our room was so easy! The hotel has everything you could possible need and is a perfect location to get into the centre of Amsterdam. We will be returning, and we will be staying here!

Die Lage ist super, allerdings hatten wir die Aussicht nach hinten - was extrem langweilig ist. Das Frühstück ist top.

Es gab viele Party People und so wurden wir in zwei von drei Nächte geweckt, es ist recht Hellhörig, was ich so eher von Hostels kenne. Das Design ist super, leider sind die Räume sehr klein und es fehlen daher Haken für die Handtücher, Jacken musste man bei dem Regen auch in den Schrank hängen weil es keinen anderen Platz gab.

few minutes free ferry ride from Amsterdam centraal train station and fairly flat walking to the hotel. breakfast is better than most continental breakfasts - fresh celery juice and a hot meal of eggs (plus cereals, hams, etc). Room is stylish, nice view of river. Working record player appreciated. shower pressure amazing. The distance to main Amsterdam sights means a better rest away from the tourists. The music theme of hotel is well executed and we enjoyed the quirky themed elevator. The finishings in room - leather seats, linen were well appointed.

Hotel is setup for a particular type of guest who do not have cars / not driving and guests with little luggage and don’t mind common areas being shared with public. If you drive and/or have luggage you want to drop off or load luggage, the hotel does not have a proper car drop off and the hotel lobby is situated on second floor. i am not sure about cobblestone type pavement around the exterior of the hotel for all types of accessibility. No assistance with our luggage both during check in and check out. Room is fairly large for European standards but the way it is furnished, if you have large suitcases, be prepared to keep them closed or there won’t be much space to move in your room. The car/restaurant on level 1 was crowded the night we were there and for the price we paid, I expected a bit more exclusivity given to hotel guests in common areas but that did not happen. The exclusivity for guests is limited mostly to your room.
