Location was perfect

There was no wifi.. no papertowels , shower was smaller than usual for Italy

Darling apartment in a great location. So many extra touches with presentation and decor. Our flight came in late and Camilla was so flexible to accommodate a much later arrival. Camilla was also so helpful with recommendations for food and how to navigate to the apartment. I would highly recommend asking her any questions you have ahead of time to clarify your arrival. Venice is so tricky to navigate! And, she was more than helpful.

Unfortunately, our wifi did not work and we were unable to contact Camilla to let her know as our phone did not work for any wifi communication. Which made us feel a bit isolated. But, the apartment was wonderful!

Beautifully located within close proximity to all restaurants & shops . I am disabled walking a a huge problem but the elevator and location meant I could go out & return very quickly when I felt weak . Surrounded by coffee shops restaurants souvenir shops and 3 mins walk to Rialto station . Get a water taxi from the airport to Rialto don’t get a car as you still must travel by water if you can’t walk . The water taxi men are amazingly patio and helpful

I want to start by saying that Camilla is an excellent host, very accommodating, friendly and keen on helping guests get the most out of their stay in Venice. She went out of her way to accommodate us when we arrived early on the first day by allowing us to store our luggage in the apartment while the place was being cleaned. In addition, when there was an internet failure due to external circumstances, she came over and set-up her own internet router so that we could have internet. I would give this property 12/10 if it wasn't for one thing: the air conditioning was set at a temperature that was not cold enough to deal with the very hot and humid Venice weather in August (there is no possibility to adjust the a/c). Because it was so hot, we needed to sleep with the windows open. That meant mosquitos got in and made it difficult to sleep at night. In addition, since the windows were not closed and the location is right in a popular spot in Venice (close to Rialto bridge), it was noisy up to about 2am (loud talking, screaming, people playing music, etc...) and then again at 7am when people are active again. Because it faces a square, the noise is amplified and really carries. Despite the apartment being meticulously maintained (it looks brand new), very well decorated and with a very comfortable bed, we barely slept the whole time we were there. If the a/c can be adjusted (or even if a fan was provided as a minimum), I would certainly stay here again as it's a wonderful place in a great location with a fantastic host.

Air conditioning needs to be better and/or a fan provided to avoid needing to keep the windows open at night and deal with mosquitos and noise.

Location superb, right in the heart of Venice. Very clean and comfortable apartment.

Air-conditioning could not be changed according to local regulations apparently. It was fixed at a temperature which was by no means cool enough to cope with the high outside temperatures we experienced. It didn't matter so much by day, as we were always out, but sleeping at night was not easy. The air-conditioning unit was located in the lounge and was not powerful enough or had a temperature low enough to adequately cool our bedroom. I slept on the couch in the lounge as a consequence.

amazing property, so central to everything and Betty and Camilla were so helpful all the way through. great communication and went above and beyond with recommendations on places to eat etc, non touristy. the square is great with a lovely cafe and so close to everything but a haven as well from the madness of the crowds. The lift was a bonus with our suitcases. we can’t speak highly enough of the hosts Betty and Camilla, truly lovely people who genuinely want you to fall in love with Venice. the best bnb we have ever stayed in!
