The location of this hostel is amazing. Right on the beach with the bar area opening onto the sand and sea. The staff are friendly and the place has a really chill vibe. I had originally booked 4 nights but stayed for 9. The bus from Leon runs every hour and drops you off right outside the hostel so it's very easy to go to Leon and surrounding areas.

Mano a Mano is absolutely the best place to stay in Las Peñitas. Location is amazing (right at the beach). Good food, Wifi, comfortable rooms with van (temperature is good a night). Besides this, they offer volleybal games and other activities.

At night it was too hot and the too fans were not enough.

Sadly pets weren’t allowed. The 50% in advance of the reservation was very complicated, I needed to go to the bank to make a deposit or pay through a link.

Beautiful eco hostal on the beach. the staff are lovely, volunteer Julianne and surf coach Kelvin are the best. every bed has a fan, locker (with plug socket inside) and mosquito net. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, but there is also a shared kitchen if you want to cook for yourself. You can take a private surf lesson for $25 or hire a surfboard for $5 an hour, $7 half a day and $10 full day. Every day at 5pm the locals come to play beach volleyball as the sun sets. they also have a yoga deck upstairs with yoga mats.

nothing. the only thing you should be aware of is there are no ATMs or grocery shops in Las Peñitas.

Everything was perfect and it was just sad to leave... The facilities are great, the location, the view, the food. Every single person working at Mano a Mano is super nice and creates a very good atmosphere for everyone. Thank you for everything

All what I expected was met. I love to have silence and peace when at the room. I would like to go again. The staff was so great and very honest, I value so much that!!

I was missing so much my type of drinks which was not on the menu. Bamboo or Cubata is a great option they should include for the one that prefer something sweet and soft.

We stayed in a private room - the walls are incredibly flimsy so you can hear word for word your neighbours’ conversations. On our last day when we picked up our backpacks which had been lying on the floor, they were covered in hundreds of tiny mites. The bathroom door doesn’t close and is see through so a bit awkward if you were sharing the private room with people you’re not super close with. One of the women working at the bar was unbelievably rude - we ended up eating elsewhere as we didn’t want to deal with her again.

the whole place was excellent!

- The beds were comfortable - Bonfire in the evening

- wifi is bad - loud music because of a event (was not communicated). There was loud music at 6.30am!! - activity board is just show. If you ask employees things, everybody says something else. There is only yoga if the teacher shows up (if there is even a teacher). - kitchen and bathroom are dirty. Toilet doesn’t flush properly

Charming building with lots of attention to detail, very friendly staff and a great location right on the beach. Yummy options for breakfast and other meals. We really enjoyed our stay

Very friendly and helpful staff, great location right on the beach, great restaurant with quality food options at fair prices, and a generally very well organised hostel.

I would only say that during the really hot hours of the day, there's not much place to escape the heat when everyone is trying to find comfy a spot in the shade in the common area. Not a major issue but I imagine it could get a bit crowded when at full capacity.

hotspot in las peñitas. excellent & chilling atmosphere. cool & broadminded people from all over. best Hub for travelers & surfers in this area. healthy & delicious food. exciting cocktails at the bar. bonfire and guitar music at the place. Sunrise & Sunset at the same beach. could not believe that! mangroves to develop nearby. amazing turtle watching during the Season... 5 Stars for this Unique place ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
