The house was perfect for our sailing team and family. It was so nice to return to this wonderful home after a full days racing at SSA. We will be returning the next time we are in Annapolis to race or visit. Look out for the tree in the backyard. LOL!

This was the absolute perfect home for our family to stay at for my son's wedding weekend (instead of staying in a stuffy hotel, before the big day). Plenty of room for all 12 of us. Home and water views are absolutely beautiful. I would definitely recommend staying at this home. It has everything you would possibly need. Lovely quiet neighborhood, yard and home are very well maintained and gorgeous. It has a very homey feel. You will not be disappointed by booking this Air B&B. The owner, Jean, was wonderful and responded to all questions very quickly.

The house and yard are beautifully kept! The dock was fun. We were on the porch, the dock, the yard all day! Our children experienced canoeing and kayaking. The view is just beautiful! We certainly may be back sometime!

This was our second year staying at this property. It was as great as last year, with several additional appliances for added convenience. Any questions I had were quickly answered via email. The dock and sandy bottom wading area were great for family fun.

We needed extra sleeping quarters for our extended family as we celebrated a milestone birthday in our hometown of Severna Park. Not only did this lovely home fit the bill but we had the bonus of the beautiful view and the lovely well-appointed home. thank you!

This lovely property was all that we expected and more! It was the ideal place for relaxing, playing and enjoying the surrounding area. 6 adults came together to share 50th USNA reunion fun and everyone agreed that this was a super choice with all we needed or wanted and much more! So much better than a hotel! And, a big bonus was waking up to a beautiful water view, then having coffee on the porch while watching the passing parade of boats, paddle boarders and birds! Jean, the host, was very responsive and accommodating. We highly recommend and hope to someday return!

Great vacation home with everything inside you could want. The bonus is the boathouse and various kayaks and canoes.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. There was a main floor bedroom for the grandparents and a screened in porch where they could watch the kids play by the dock. Kids loved the kayaks and canoe and the downstairs play room. We loved having coffee on our own deck in the mornings. So relaxing and plenty of space for everyone!

We can't say enough good things about this house and the host! The listing pictures don't do the place justice, it is even nicer in person. You can enjoy a spectacular river view from inside in the main living area, both porches, and outside on the lovely grounds and private dock. The place was immaculate and well equipped. Many restaurants were in delivery distance which was great for the evenings we did not want to cook. Jean was very responsive and it was fascinating to read the information she left about the history of the family home. We hope to return another time when the weather is warmer and we can enjoy the kayaks!

We have stayed in Manhattan Beach several times and the house is by far our favorite! The two porches were one of our favorite features. The screened porch off the main level was roomy and we ate every meal there. The 2nd floor porch was a perfect spot for a morning cup of coffee and for those of us who had to work. You can’t beat the view from either porch, especially the sunrises. The house is very well equipped. We used the kayaks, canoes, and floats every day and appreciated the huge umbrella on the dock. The kitchen had every plate, dish, appliance and utensil we could have needed! There were also lots of lawn games and board games which would have been perfect for a rainy day...but we thankfully never had one!Even though it was less than an hour from our Baltimore home, it was the perfect get-away!

We really enjoyed our stay. This is a quiet neighborhood and the house has gorgeous water views. We enjoyed canoeing, fishing, and swimming off of the house’s dock. Our 6 year old was excited by the closet of toys in finished basement. The house was well equipped and had everything you need to cook meals but is also in delivery range of many restaurants. It is very clear that the owner takes great pride in the house. It is well maintained and kept very clean. We had a really enjoyable and relaxing stay.

We absolutely loved every minute of our stay. The home is beautifully decorated, comfortable, equipped with essential items in kitchen, for swimming and kayaking off the pier and a relaxing location to watch boats from the lower and upper decks. Due to the Covid-19 situation the owner made us feel very comfortable and local area restaurants offered curbside and delivery options. Definitely planning another visit.

Our family totally enjoyed our stay. We decorated for the Christmas Holidays and enjoyed family visiting during our stay. The house and property are well maintained by the owners. The gas fireplace in livingroom added to our holiday celebration. The house has one bedroom downstairs with private bath and than an additional 1/2 bath in hallway on main level. The additional 4 bedrooms are upstairs. 1 room has private bathroom than there is an additional full large bathroom in hallway. The house has beautiful views of the river from the upstairs back porch along with the downstairs back screened porch. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, serving dishes, pots, and casserole dishes. We enjoyed having the use of the Keurig coffee maker along with a regular drip coffee maker. Honestly the kitchen is organized and well equipped with anything you could possibly need. Loved the gas stove and the new refrigerator made us feel right at home. The house has a warm friendly feel from the moment you walk in the front door. Plenty of space for anyone who needs parking space for there boat. Thank -you for sharing this beautiful house, and making it so warm, friendly and comfortable. We hopefully will be able to visit again.

We gathered here for a 50th birthday...3 generations...and it couldn’t have been more perfect!! The house, the accommodations, the location , the decor, the communications... EVERYTHING WAS SO MUCH MORE THAN WE EXPECTED!!!! IT WAS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!! Thanks for such a great gathering place❣️❣️❣️❣️We had such a memorable time in this lovely home!!!

The house is beautiful and the location very central. We loved the view of the river from two bedrooms and the kitchen/dining room/living room. Jean is very easy to communicate with. We could not have asked for more. Thanks

This house was perfect for our annual "girls'" weekend - 7 of us fit easily into the 5 comfortable bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. The kitchen was well equipped, including an excellent gas stove, for eating in although there are a number of tempting eating spots within a reasonable drive. The view from the porches and living/dining area of the creek and boats going by is great. The house & view really do look like the pictures on the website. The neighborhood is quiet but near enough to Annapolis for easy sightseeing or visiting (15 minutes +/-). We were fortunate enough with the weather that we didn't even use the downstairs TV room, but that would be an asset to families with children or visits during bad weather. Jean, the owner, was very helpful and easy to deal with. We all would gladly return!

This year's visit to Jean's house in Severna Park was our third, and not our last! We're a group of six "old" college roommates who've found this wonderful place to meet all of our needs for talking, cooking, kayaking, watching the sun rise, and more. This year we met our neighbors, who actually live full time in this paradise, and they were kind and generous. We recommend Jean's property to you without reservation!

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our son, daughter, and 5 grandchildren. Everyone loved relaxing on the deck, paddling in the Kayaks and canoe, swimming, and quiet evenings playing games. Everything was supplied for us, even perfect weather! We all definitely want to return!

We spent the week at this fabulous property for Commissioning Week 2019 for our son who graduated from the Naval Academy and commissioned as a Marine 2nd Lt. We had a busy week of parties, receptions, parades, balls and other events to celebrate the USNA Class of 2019 and this house for the perfect place for our extended family to gather and relax in the evenings and be away from all the traffic and business of downtown Annapolis. We have used VRBO often and this is the most well equipped we have ever rented. We had extended family and several friends, some people stayed early in the week and even more for the later parts of the week and everyone loved the setting, the ample room and seating areas, and especially the screened porch! The basement was the perfect place for our graduate, his friend who stayed with us, and our other son since the separate entrance allowed them to come in later after CW parties and leave early to return to the their obligations at the yard without disturbing the whole house. There is room for one or more inflatable mattresses down there in addition to the sofa bed. There were so many towels, and sheets for everyone and they were or nice quality. The kitchen was well stocked and even though we did not cook much, we could have prepared full meals with ease. We appreciated that there was plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, dish and dishwasher soap, hand soap etc. These are things that are often not available in rentals and have to be purchased and often the excess thrown away at the end. We enjoyed the kayaks and sitting on the dock watching the water and the boats. The only thing that could have made the house more perfect would be a bathroom in the basement. The curtains are very pretty but none of the windows have darkening drapes or blinds so if you don't like any light when you sleep you may want to bring a sleep mask. The owners were very helpful as we looked at the property over 2 years in advance and allowed us to come by and see it in person when we were in town visiting. What you see on the listing is as good or better when you see it in person. There are restaurants, groceries, convenince stores in the immediate area and it is only a short 15 minute drive to the Naval Academy and all the restaurants and attractions that downtown Annapolis has to offer. After a busy, emotional week. we would have loved to be able to stay a couple of more days to enjoy the water and the relaxing setting. Thanks!
