Nice quirky hotel. Beds were comfy and staff was nice. 30 minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower.

I asked for a table for dinner and was told in 20 min. After this time everything was fully occupied and we needed to find somewhere else to eat. we were tired and the kids were grumpy.

It’s not as close to the Eiffel Tower as I thought, 20 min walk maybe.

The family room was spacious, with a small bathroom. The hotel is in a great area, within walking distance of Gare Montparnasse. We only stayed for one night but we'd gladly stay again as the location is perfect (especially when coming by train from Montparnasse), close to metros, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend the Madrigal for a stay of a few nights in Paris. There is also a restaurant attached to the hotel, which we did not try, but it looked like a nice place.

In our room in particular the hanging sliding door of the bathroom did not shut, but as we were there only one night, it wasn't really an issue.

At the hotel bar, they charged me 10 euros for 2 cappuccinos and a glass of water which was outrageously expensive even for Paris.

the room was very nice and the whole place had a nice vibe including all the people working there.

the bed was a little to soft for my personal preference and I would’ve preferred fitted sheets in the bed as I move a lot and needed to fit the sheets every morning. but I know that’s very personal and doesn’t influence my rating of the place

Fab location just off the metro and very quirky interior! The chrome cast was a great addition!

Room was absolutely boiling despite the radiators not being on and some old contact lenses left on the bed side table 🤢

The hotel is very well located, rooms are pretty and clean.

Unfortunately is not baby/family friendly especially the people at the restaurant that seems to belong to the hotel is quite unfriendly/not helpful.
