The seaside location and pool area was great.

Sadly our unit, #24 was quite run down and needed a good cleaning. Simple things like the kitchen sink was filthy, the fan light fixture did not have a glass fixture on it, was just bare bulbs, the walls were dirty, the curtains were dirty or stained, the toilet was badly soiled, the bath towels were frayed and yellowed, the palapa roof in the bedroom had two holes, the extra bed, had just a blanket thrown on it as a spread, etc… For $200 a night we were frankly stunned at the condition of the room.

The staff was great, there was a surfing instruction /surf board rentals, and a masseuse on site. The food was great and the pool was fun.

The ocean! The pool! The breakfast! The staff! and the lovely rooms!

I did not like leaving! The kitchen could have had more utensils but staff were very attentive to needs.

Location is brilliant. Best beach around for lounging, surfing and very relaxed. Very few vendors and noise found on touristy beaches. Loved going to sleep and waking up to crashing waves. Pool area is wonderful, swim up bar, lounge chairs, 2 hot tubs and waiters to to take your order.

The villas need updating, a little rough but typical of the older Mexico accommodations.

The location, the pool, and the staff were exceptional. Very friendly, definitely one of the best locations in Cerritos. Good breakfast, good drinks, surfboards you can rent immediately. Good wifi. We will return.

The villa needed more care and was bare. No sound system or TV in the main floor, was a bit dark. The shower in one room didn't have hot water (the staff came in and made it work, but none of us succeeded after they left). The kitchen was too bare: besides a set of 4 silverware, a coffee machine, 4 cups and 4 glasses, there was nothing else in any of the cabinets besides one pan, so nothing for us to cook with, no complimentary sugar, coffee, salt and basic necessities; no kitchen towels. I think this is what turned us off a bit for $360/night, not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, just come prepared with your own kitchen stuff if you plan to stay longer here, otherwise plenty of options in town to eat, etc. We will return, it was still a great spot, it's beach front, can't beat that.

I would have appreciated a broom to sweep the patio, impossible to keep sand off it but I’d have tidied it up in the morning.

The location is amazing. if you choose a front row room the place is amazing including the service, the room equipment and the vicinity to the beach. The hotel is wonderfully aligned in front of the beach with very relaxed atmosphere. The way the hotel is built with every room separated is excellent for someone who want to really feel the amazing beach life of Baha. Sharp contradiction to other hotels in the area or in Cabo.

if you book a room without air condition -the experience is far worse. The room is not as clean as air conditioned rooms and if there is no wind you cant sleep. Staying at noon in a room without air condition was impossible. We were given a room without air condition and it was terrible, We went surfing in other beaches driving for more than 1 hour so we can enjoy the air condition in the car.... We started enjoying the hotel only after we moved to the air conditioned room. Only then we actually stayed in the hotel, went to the pool and ordered food, drinks etc.

we had an issue with a storm damaged wall that had paint flying everywhere but the staff graciously accommodated us in another villa which was much larger and had AC.

The location is amazing

We have stayed at surf town several times, and this time it just felt very different. The pool was very dirty, dead sand crabs, napkins, food remnants, straws. The staff stood around instead of acknowledging the customers needing service, especially the manager ulysses. Dinner service was lacking, but the food was very good.

I have nothing but good things to say about all of it. The place was beautiful in a laid back way… the staff were so nice and helpful. The food was delicious. We loved it and can’t wait to go back!!
