- It’s in a really peaceful, quiet area - Lovely decor and very clean - Very good Wi-Fi - The family are super friendly and helpful, who like to talk to the guests and make sure they’re ok - Nice breakfast of pancake, juice and tea (some fresh fruit would be great too though) - Lots of cats! :) - Activities and rentals available through the hostel - Fan in bedroom keeps it nice and cool - Lots of storage space (somewhere lockable would be nice)

- The bathroom was really smelly - I think it was coming from the drains, so nothing they can really do about it. Might be worth putting an air freshener or something in there though - I had hot water for the shower for 3 minutes the first night and then never again. This is pretty common in Bali though, so not a big problem

I had a wonderful stay at Dika Homestay. Wayan is the most lovely host and will make you feel right at home. The room was also very comfortable with its own little terrace. The breakfast was delicious and if you like, you can also order dinner or lunch with Wayan. She also has scooter rental, can help you with various tours or transfer and she has her own weaving and cooking classes. I did the cooking class which was amazing! We went to the market together and made some local dishes which were sooo good! Also ask her about the little souvenirs which she is selling and made herself!

This is the best place we have ever stayed in! Wayan is a fantastic host, and you'll feel at home from the very first second when you're greeted with a hot welcome drink and fresh fruits from the family's garden. The room, bathroom (and particularly the floor, haha) are the cleanest I've seen during all my travels in Southeast Asia, and the towels and bed linen smell great. Every day we got offered drinks and fresh fruit. On top, you can also order Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner for a small amount of money. During our stay, we were able to do a traditional weaving class as well as a Balinese cooking class (including Appetizer, Main course, Dessert, vegan options, a fresh coconut per person, + fresh fruit) with Wayan, who is also an amazing cook. Living so closely with a Balinese family was nice, and Wayan and her children are incredibly lovely. We also had the chance to visit her family-owned rice patty and meet her friends there, as well as learning more about the difference between a Bali vs. a Lombok chilli, see fresh peanuts growing, and so on. Moreover, whatever question you have or whatever help is needed, Wayan will do her absolute best to support you. On top of that, Sidemen is our absolute favourite place in Bali, with so many colours of green, extensive ricefields, the view of Mount Agung, incredibly friendly people and a bit more peace compared to Bali's touristic areas (f.e. Ubud).

The room was very comfortable and clean. the breakfast was very tasty and made to order. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating, they could help organise anything you needed, and were always available.

I have 0 complaints but please realize there is no A/C. the weather is beautiful at night and you can sleep with windows/door open and fan on.

Wayan and her family are extremely welcoming and friendly. Their incredible warmth and hospitality made our stay a fantastic, fun and memorable one. The room was clean and comfortable and had a lovely private terrace. The food was tasty. We were kindly invited to join Wayan and her family to celebrate the festival of Galungan. This included a family dinner and visits to wonderful temples. In the lead up to the festival we watched the family make Balinese dishes and decorations for the festival. We were also able to rent a scooter from Wayan and learn about traditional weaving. We liked our first visit so much we booked a return visit and I would definitely stay again. Thank you Wayan and family for making us feel like a part of the family!

Wayan and her family were so welcoming. The room was comfortable and clean. There was a lovely sitting area outside the room to eat breakfast. We had dinner there too which was tasty. We have already booked our return to this warm friendly Homestay.

The property was in a great location. The room had everything we needed. We had breakfast and lunch at the property, and both were great value for money. The fried chicken rice and noodles were so tasty. We felt so welcomed during our stay. If you are looking for somewhere in Sidemen, I really recommend here! Thank you so much for having us.

Such a lovely little spot in Sidemen! We were here for a couple of days and really loved it. The bed was comfy, the shower was great and they had everything we needed. Wifi was very good!

Dika homestay had been recommended to us through other travellers and what a great choice we made to go there ! Wayan and her family gave us a very warm welcome and were extremely nice with us during our stay. The room is spacious and was very clean. Also well located on foot or on bike, you can visit Sidemen surroundings perfectly. We mostly ate at Dika homestay, and had very good food for reasonable prices. You can also rent a motobike there and they provides other services. Wayan also do weaving herself and give weaving class among others.We got an excellent massage as well at a fair price. Thanks again Wayan, we will see you again !

We had a very nice stay at Dika homestay! Wayan made us feel really welcome and was helpful in preparing a drink, a nice lunch and helping us with our laundry and our next location (driver and boat tickets). The room is very clean and spacious. We loved to have our own sitting spot in front of our room for the breakfast, lunch and some reading :) it is a peaceful place!

Simple, spacious room with a great hot shower. Dika is lovely and her food is amazing, some of the best we have had in Bali. She put us in contact with Kadek (her nephew) who organised white water rafting, Mount Batur Climb and Gembleng waterfall.

The rooms are bright, large and clean, with lovely big bathroom, a nice little patio area and a little shared garden. The town is tiny, so location is great for exploring the surrounding area and so, so quiet. A little restaurant on the street in front is owned and run by the same people and is decent. We had two rooms (king size beds). There is a great family room, but we sold out when we booked!

It would be great to have drinking water provided in the rooms (in a reusable container ideally!)

Where should I start, this place is not just a homestay, this is real life with a Balinese family. I met some of the nicest human being here that I've ever met. They will treat you as a part of there family, cooking and eating together. They can organise trips for you. It's an experience you have to try. Special thanks to Wayan, Wati, Kadek, Komang, Mira, Dika and all the family members. Hope to see you again in the future!

I absolutely loved my stay at Dika! I had heard about them from my cousin who stayed at this homestay and my expectations were absolutely exceeded! The family was absolutely lovely and helped me in every way they possibly could. I particularly loved the offering class I did, it was a really special experience! They helped me organise some other activities and had so many more on offer! The location was a short walk into Town and a perfect peaceful spot. The food on offer was excellent and the service amazing!
