The location and ample parking and what a fantastic view from the lounge window.

Spiral staircase is a bit tricky when taking luggage etc in and out. But a small price to pay for what is an excellent property.

This apartment is like a Tardis: it's bigger on the inside! From down below you don't realise that it occupies most of the first floor. The bedrooms are spacious, the living room is spacious, even the bathroom is spacious. It's tastefully decorated throughout, it has a lovely character. All our friends who saw the photos were positively charmed by it. The apartment was very clean and well-maintained. There's dedicated parking space for two cars. We stayed for a week in summer and we really enjoyed it. Down to details. The bedrooms are pretty large, there's a lot of fresh air if you throw the window open. The beds were very comfortable. The location is very quiet, day or night. There was also enough wardrobe space for everything we brought. Living room has comfy chairs, lots of books, and is overall very cosy. I have to admit we did not use it much, because the weather was great and we spent most of the day outdoors. But I think on a rainy day it'd be great to sit down and relax or play games. There's a beautiful view out of the window as well. Bathroom has a power shower that works well. There's a washing machine in the reception. The kitchen is fitted with everything apart from a dishwasher. Everything we needed was there. Another important aspect is the location. Kirkby Lonsdale is a beautiful little town, which has really good road connections to the rest of Yorkshire Dales, Forest of Bowland, Lake District, and Lancaster town -- all of that within 1 hour driving radius. We have spent most of the week trekking around. In the town, there's upmarket Booths supermarket in 10 minutes on foot, it's open until 22:00 on all days except for Sunday, when it closes earlier. Because of ongoing COVID restrictions, local places to eat have restricted seating, and everything needs to be booked in advance. Because of that we did not have a chance to try any local pubs or restaurants.

There was nothing to dislike. A couple of warnings to the travellers. 1. Finding to the house for the first time was a challenge, because a lot of streets in Kirkby Lonsdale are narrow and one way only. But Mill Brow is actually a two-way street, which we did not realise initially. You enter it from the corner where Spar is, go down, and then the house is on the right closer to the bottom of the street. 2. The only way into the apartment is via a steep spiral staircase to the first floor. Make sure that you can manage that :)

Lovely apartment with spectacular view from sitting room window, beds really comfortable and the sitting room was just so comfortable after a day out . Fabulous location and just a couple of minutes to the shops and restaurants
