This was one of the cleanest motels I have ever stayed at. The new owners are proud of that they are doing, and it shows. The friendliness of the staff was outstanding, and the location is excellent - an easy walk to the centre of town. Also, the complimentary Wi-Fi is very fast (unlike a lot of other properties). This will be our accommodation of choice whenever we come to Forster in future.

The servo next door is noisy and brights but as it closes down at 2130 every night it is not a problem. Probably the worst aspect of the room is the curtains are useless in blocking out light. Proper block out curtains and rail would be good as when the servo opens in the morning the bright lights just shine through...

The room was very clean, tidy and comfortable. The Manger Ella, I think her name was delightful! Super helpful of places to eat and visit. Very welcoming. Motel in a great location close to everything and great price.

It was just a bit noisy in that you could here the toilets flushing next door but that can be a common theme in a lot of motels.

The new owners are putting a whole lot of effort, and money, into bringing this older motel back to life. It has good bones, good location. Just needed a bit of love.

The location is immediately next to a petrol station and also a major construction site out the back. It’s noisy! Lights on for most of the night. A fuel tanker arrived to refuel at the petrol station at 2.15am! There was also no hot water!

Forstay Motel is in a great location, within an easy walk of restaurants, shops and the waterfront. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. The room was comfortable, clean and well provisioned. We would definitely stay there again.
