Jorgos (the owner) is a really polite and nice person but as soon as we arrived he started explaining the rules and we were chocked with some of those rules. There is a cooktop but the recommendation was almost a “don’t use it because it’s fragile” but the most weird rules were written in a paper “please don’t blow the nose in the shower”, “please don’t blow the nose in the towel”, “please leave the toilet bowl clean” 😂😂😂

We stayed at Jorgos Apartment for 6 days and at first everything seemed fine. The host was very friendly and helpful and the apartment was very clean and tidy. He asked us for €100 in cash as a deposit, which we found strange. Although the breakfast was included it was below optimal: 3 small packs of Coco-Pops, a bit of jam and butter, toasted bread, 1L of milk and a few coffee capsules, all to last for 6 days. The owner lives in between two of the apartments he rents and at times, I felt I had no privacy, as I enjoyed resting outside and he was pacing up and down to do his chores. Milos is full of stray cats and I as animal lover, I didn’t mind feeding the cats. However at night, we had invasions of giant ants and in the morning you could smell and see the cats poos and dead ants everywhere. On the day before we left, we had an argument because we left all the “breakfast” items outside his house (to show him it was very poor and we weren’t happy with it) and he ordered us to leave the apartment in 1hour. We called the police to reach an agreement and in the end, we left early on the following morning and he gave us our €100 back. It is a shame we have to leave a poor review here, because it could have been a very enjoyable experience but, in the end we left Milos disappointed with how the host behaved and presented his apartment to us.

Great location, really clean, brilliant facilities and the owner was so lovely! We had a great stay! It’s a perfect little base to explore the island from.

The location was really good. The commodities were really confortable and the host gave us lots of tips to eat and visit. We highly recommend to stay there during a trip to Milos.
