It looks pretty
Very small room and hairs and dirt on the toilet floor and on the floors.

The staff and owner were amazing!! The rooms were beautiful. Yes, on the smaller side but all we needed and more. The most comfortable stay we had throughout our two weeks in Israel. The latte machine and fresh baked goods in the lobby made every morning and evening a treat!
Nothing.

Excellent room interior design, friendly staff, fast internet, coffee, water and pies available at reception, keyless room access, rooftop open 24/7
A little dusty in the room itself, on wardrobe and other not easily accessible areas

Definitely one of the best places to stay in Tel-Aviv Jaffa. Clean, comfortable and pleasant rooms. Great location. But mostly, I was amazed by the stuff work. During my stay, I’ve met more than 5 staff members and each of them did their work perfectly. They were always ready to help me or just to chat. So it was an amazing time, just like you’re visiting our relatives!

You have to know what you are getting here - if you are looking for the classic hotel with SPA, pool and 100 meter long breakfast buffet, this is not for you. This is a small, "boutique" hotel, offering excellent location, a unique design blending old and modern, lots of character, and a personal approach from the cordial staff. Of special note are:
1. Location, location, location: it is within a short walking distance from anywhere in old Jaffa - from the flea market to Ramses' gate, the old city to the beach. Affordable parking (24 NIS for 24 hours) can be found 200m from the place.
2. Despite being central - it is quiet enough to get a good night sleep.
3. Rooms are full of character, and boldly designed.
4. Lobby offers free hot drinks, excellent cakes and some additional "treats" 24 hours a day of you have the munchies at any point. Staff are cordial and responsive to guests' requests.
You have to "connect" with the unusual design - for example - the kitchenette sink is the only sink in the room - so you make your tea and shave at the same place.

The staff were amazing and treated us like family, Serge and his team are awesome, wish I could have stayed a couple more days their, close to everything and always felt like home.

The staff were friendly and helpful. As a smaller hotel, the atmosphere was relaxed and you know that the staff will do what they can to help you out- which made our stay that bit more enjoyable. The rooms were nicely presented and comfortable, and we were upgraded too which was fantastic. I loved the cake and sweets in reception and you can even help yourself to a beer from the fridge. The location is great and although it is central to Jaffa, the street is quiet and accessible to south Tel Aviv. The building has been restored well and has lots of charm.
Nothing.

Elmina is a gem in the city. The location is perfect, 100meters from the beach, old yaffo and the cafes. The room are cosy and nicely decorated. Serge and his staff are truly exceptional with nice care everyday. We just loved it.

The location is very good
Near the beach, the flea market, and Noga neighbourhood
The room was very small, in bad shape. Mirror in the room was broken, the walls looked bad also. Soundproofing very bad you hear everybody passing the hallway and the pipe noise as well. The curtains weren’t good at all the room was full of light in the morning which woke us up.

Very nice hotel with kind and professional staff.
Breakfast is served in a cafe / restaurant outside of the hotel. It opens, depending of the day at 9 or even 10 so no option for early (or even "standard") breakfast.

Be careful booking this hotel. It advertised with 'large double beds' and 'sound proof rooms' - but all the beds are tiny queens. There's construction going on outside. Since the windows don't close fully, the room is noisy. Also, we were met with quite some dust and nasty smells in the room. Would not recommend staying here.
Be careful booking this hotel. It advertised with 'large double beds' and 'sound proof rooms' - but the beds are all tiny queens. And there's construction going on outside. Since the windows don't close fully, the room is noisy. Also, we were met with quite some dust and nasty smells in the room. We checked out after the first night and while the property promised to reimburse, they did not and do not reply to Booking or us. Reading the Jerusalem Post newspaper about hidden camera's that the owner has put in the hotel rooms, I would not recommend staying here.

Lovely, very stylish hotel in the heart of trendy Jaffa/Yafo and close to the beach. The room was lovely, great decoration; the bed was very very comfortable and the shower was a dream. The staff were very kind and friendly and went above and beyond to help with any questions. We were there on the shabbat and breakfast would have started later but they were very helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate our plan for the day. Sunset on the rooftop is unmissable. Superb place to stay.
