Everything! What a beautiful place, a beautiful, comfortable room with an amazing unique bathroom...I had a shower in a wine barrel! Dionissia an Dimitris were the perfect hosts and made me feel very much at home. I have stayed on Donousa before, but this is the mist wonderful place yet!

Probably the nicest place to stay on the island. Nice details and well taken care premises/rooms. Inspiring design blended with warm hearted hospitality and availability. Nothing to add only looking forward to going back.

From the very first second we felt so very welcome at STENOSA. We very much like this special place and our wonderful hosts Dionysia and Dimitris - every day was a good day! Stenosa (how sailors used to call Donousa in the 19th century) was a magical stay that encapsulates everything that makes Donousa so enchanting. Dionysia and Dimitris have poured their soul, love of Donousa and creativity in making Stenosa one of the most wonderfully rustic and unpretentiously comfortable places that we have ever stayed at. We stayed at the small house called Ninemia (meaning calm) that was beautifully appointed and full of traditional Cycladic rustic charm. It also had one of the best views to be had from 2 of our very own terraces - one just outside the entrance and another one on the rooftop. It felt very private thanks to the village-like layout of Stenosa. The outdoor kitchen was also very handy and well equipped for preparing meals. The Nespresso machine with free coffee capsules was a great touch! Dionysia was a real joy to be around and a fabulous host that made us feel right at home. She was always ready to share her tips of Donousa and make our stay as pleasant as it could get! We’ll be back for sure - Stenosa you have bewitched us!

All was absolutely perfect about our stay at Stenosa: the location, the room, the cleanliness, the nice and friendly owners, the common spaces, the delicious treat we were served, the aperitif on our personal rooftop at sunset, the island, the food, the beaches, the sea, the… We definitely suggest this small piece of paradise!

Very unique and individually designed. Good space and probably best designed place we’ve ever stayed in Greece. Created with flair, love and attention to detail. A sheer delight to stay in and loved our terrace to watch the sunset.

The rooms and the garden are beautifully decorated. The views from the terrace and the room are amazing and the hosts are super polite. They made us gifts and we felt really special. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who appreciates attention to detail and the beauty of the small Greek islands.

First of all Dionisias kindness and passion to make guests feel like family. With her son Nikolaus they did everything to make your holiday a success. The room, the terrace, the view, everything perfect.

What a fantastic place. We were welcomed like old friends the moment we stepped off the ferry. The complex is made up of tiny houses in Cycladic style looking out on a square so it feels like you are staying in a small village. And the sunsets are simply sublime.

We loved everything about our stay! The place is absolutely beautiful and we felt like we were welcomed by family into their own home. The location is perfect, with sweeping views across the village and port and beautiful sunsets. There were so many thoughtful touches -- lovely functional decorative pieces in all the common spaces, fresh herbs from the garden in our room, homemade Cretan appetizers and wine at sunset on our last night, and great local recommendations. We want to come back as soon as possible!

We didn't like the fact that we had to leave at the end of our stay!

I've spent 5 nights in Stenosa with my girlfriend. The studios are wonderful and cozy with an amazing sea view. The room and the common spaces are well-finished and the owners, Diniosia and Dimitri, are accommodating and kind. One night thay offered us two glasses of wine and some very tasting home-made salad pies! The last day they also gave us a wonderful and scented bunch of aromatic herbs from their garden. I very reccomend Stenosa! We had a very good time!

Our stay at Stenosa was definitely the highlight of our holidays in Greece. First, it is perfectly located in the best greek island that is Donoussa, close to the main village and the beaches. The Hosts are very welcoming. They are the perfect balance between friendly and discreet. The place they have created is a little piece of paradise. nicely decorated, everything has been made with the heart (MERAKI ;) We really felt at home. We would say that the only problem with going to Stenosa is that after such an amazing stay, you are sad to leave :D, fortunately, we will come back next year and stay longer. Everything was just perfect. We could witness that the hosts are very good cooks as they were so nice to let us taste some of their snacks they prepared. Maybe they could propose some breakfest option with the room ? that would be amazing !

Amazing sunset views from the terrace. The room was ideal: cute, comfortable and perfectly clean. Dionisia takes care of the small hotel as of her own house. Her husband and her have been very nice and welcoming, it was a pleasure to stay with them! We would absolutely come back :)
