Wenceslas Hotel & Apartments

Me he llevado una grata sorpresa. Me han encantado las instalaciones, la limpieza y la ubicación. El apartamento estuvo genial, todo nuevo y totalmente equipado. Las camas eran muy cómodas. Cuando vuelva a Praga, volveré a alojarme aquí sin ninguna duda

Cleanliness and quality of rooms was in good standard. Aircondition worked great. Love addition of flower pot. Quiet and not much noise from other rooms was good. Staff were helpful and kind. Overall good experience. Would recommend to others.

There was an Indian restaurant right next to the lobby reception. Love Indian food but the lobby smelled like curry every day. Not pleasant. Bed mattress was to stiff. Should be more comfortable. Elevator is too small/tight.

Very nice bedrooms, though colours a bit outdated, but the beds were large and comfortable. AC working fine, as it was two hot days. The lady upfront was very helpful. It is close to a walking area with lots of terraces, stores and restaurants.

There was no coffee provided, so we bought instant to have in the apt. The parking is tricky. Only one tiny spot was available when we got there, and we had an SUV, which didn't fit. Luckily the lady at the reception was very nice and gave us a staff spot until the next day, when she made sure we had a bigger spot available to move the car to. So make sure to reserve and pay for parking ahead, otherwise there may not be room and there is nothing else available in the area. Also, not sure for what reason, but inside the apt it was quite humid, and the bathroom fan didn't seem to work well, it was a weird smell inside all the time.

The location is excellent and overall a clean facility. I did not really use the breakfast, but it looked good with lots of choices. If you’re looking for a short term few days stay, I would recommend, but for something long-term, you may want some more comfort.

The hotel did not notify in advance that they shut the air conditioning off September 1. It’s a bit of false advertising because when you go to book, it does say they have Air conditioning. I went mid September to beginning of October and it was still in the 80s some days. I was on the sixth floor and the room got over 80° every day, I spoke to the front desk about this and they would not turn on the AC. It was unbearable for days. Another issue was the door to my room was absolutely impossible to open without putting full force into it to open or close it at some point I needed somebody else to help me get the door open and I am a 31 and very fit.
