Excellent location within Reykjavik and next to a bus stop. Very cheap for an expensive city.
Showers could do with a bit of an update. Bedding and towels could be better.
7.0
Location met our needs nicely--close to desired attractions. The staff was friendly and courteous.
The step-up to the shower was a bit precarious. Room entry was right next to a shared bathroom.

location
not so clean, carpet, the pics looked better, the floor had a terrible smell, not so many showers or wcs for the amount of people staying, non value for money

Rooms were small and basic but comfy.
Building was under construction by the looks of things and amenities were older.

location price accommodated three adults with three beds. Dont judge by the exterior, rooms were in good clean condition
Not their fault but I should have read the details as I did not notice we booked a room with a shared bath.

Great location
No protection from street noise and lots of doors shutting loudly internally

Really great place to stay! Clean rooms, clean bathrooms and showers, great location and really kind people! They were very accommodating and let my friend and I check in early! The guesthouse is located in a great location, close to many beautiful attractions and to bus stops. The place has a community kitchen and fridge that was really helpful when cooking your own food to save a little money.

Great location, we walked to all the attractions. There’s a kitchen for your convenience with everything you might need.

The location is in the city center. You can find an imbiss or restaurant near the hotel. Price is reasonable.

Very responsive staff
the doors are very close to each other and when someone enters their room at night, it seems that they want to break down your door

Kitchen facility could be better

Very good location, clean.
There was nothing to block the noise from the street and it was easy to hear when people are talking in the room next door.
7.0
It is central to the main areas
There were works being carried out outside and someone on the floor above kept banging on the floor and walls

Good location, fair price
Can't say I enjoyed this place. It feels weird and it wasn't that clean. Shower was clogged so I didn't consider having one. Water on the sink smelled odd, which is weird for Iceland where water is exceptional. We only spent the night there, which was good, but I wouldn't book for more days.

The location is very central. The CheckIn and CheckOut worked fine. The free wi-fi was excellent. The room was warm and clean. There was a lot of space to put on our clothes and the room had a Washbasin, and the employees were very nice. They let me stay in the room, a little more time after the checkOut time limit.
The walls of the room were not very robust, so every time someone opened/closed another room door, everything shook up. Sometimes during the night, the canalization from the Washbasin started to make a lot of noise...only being there to understand

Private entrance and relaxed atmosphere.
Room was cold and the freezer was broken with a ticking noise. The water took ages to warm. Staff bordered on being impolite and intolerant of some of the guest. And they were stood up in a lie concernig whether a guest there was allowed to extend their booking. Since he belonged to a social group some imagine themselves put above, he was denied.

It's a cheap room but the price you pay is that everything smells like hot dogs. If you like hot dogs you may enjoy this place.

The guy on the reception was really helpful! Also the location it was good.
Really old windows that air can come inside in the room. The heating was not enough and when outside is -13 you need a warm room.

Clean, comfortable, warm and affordable.

The room was spacious and had a balcony. It was downtown. The bed was comfortable.
We asked twice for room service and it was completely ignored ! All that was done was emptying the trash bin in our room . We asked twice for fresh bed sheets and simple floor swiping but no one cared. We put the room service signe also on the door handle. I myself asked the receptionist for that. Also there were no toilet paper once I used the toilet in the middle of the night. We stayed for 6 days .

Fantastic location near main bus stops and harbour. Shared kitchen was very good in a very expensive city
Wifi slow, Way over-priced, but a bargain for Iceland. They had a washing machine on-site which we asked to use and got told we could do our own load of supplying our own powder and they would only charge us 3000ISK (20 EUR). Water and electricity are very cheap in Iceland due to resource abundance so don’t get why they feel the need to charge that
6.0
The central situated position of this hotel in Reykjavik. Easy to get into the city and even across a busstop for most pick-up points of bustours. The hotelroom was basic and does as it functions. Used for sleep and storage of the traveling bags. Note this is no hotel for anyone expecting to stay in the room during their stay. It's too basic for that.
Hygiene, the shower (used by all guests) in the hall was a little broken and leaked water, therefore there was also some moist and fungus issues. Though there were more showers, all of them looked very unclean, and could use some cleaning.
Also a bit on the pricy side, for what you (don't) get.
