This hotel is a true hidden gem, it’s an amazing property with super friendly staff and absolutely great facilities.

I had booked a specific room on booking and even upgraded and when i checked in they tried to charge me another 50. I argued and showed what i had paid for Thought she was extremely rude. But all other staff were fantastic. It was unfortunate that was the initial indroduction

Location close to the airport was really convenient but it felt tucked away and relaxing. Great hotel - only down side is it’s a chain so not really unique but will definitely stay next time we come

We were charged a different rate to the one agreed via Booking.com. We showed them the email from Booking.com but they didn't agree to it so we paid more than we were expecting to pay and then they wouldn't take the extra off our bill. We will not be recommending this hotel. Absolute disgrace.

The staff at the reception was very good,I think it was Eduardo or Ronaldo who did a very good job , congrats.

There was really no difference between the kids pool and the bigger pool, kids everywhere!

Aesthetically beautiful during the day and especially at night, I loved the layout and the old world charm of the hotel. The hospitality was exemplary. All staff members were friendly and accommodating.

As an international business traveler, I did not like “the upsell” at check-in: “for $30 more per night, I could offer you a room with a better view”. It was off-putting. I would have had a better first impression if I had been offered a complimentary upgrade which is customary in world-class hotels. I was also disappointed that the hotel did not have a restaurant that offered Costa Rican cuisine. I don’t like ordering fish and chicken from a steakhouse. The chicken was way undercooked. The potatoes had no truffle oil as promised on the menu.

near the airport, a lovely secluded oasis with nice grounds, a sweet pool, good bar service and sushi bar

we were sold an upgrade w dinner and breakfast service in the “executive Lounge” which was more like free meals at a holiday inn. don’t take it. the dollar conversion rate is favorable and you can get other on site options that are real good for a similar cost. it looks like the lounge works for families who need fast food for kids etc

Fantastic hotel (You pay for it of course). The facilities are great the different restaurants really offer several nice options to eat many different types of food. Pools are great. You are better here than going to San Jose. The hacienda is really beautiful with lots of nicely decorated spots.
