Beautiful hotel, loved the interior, the room was spacious, breakfast very nice. We had a dog with us, the hotel provided a dog bed and food bowls (with few dog treats included)

No air con , no tea/coffee making facilities and no mini fridge in room to cool bottled water. Come on guys, at the price charged, this should be in the room.

The room was clean, comfy and really beautiful, the location was ideal with EV charging available, reception staff were friendly, breakfast was exceptional!

Our room was downgraded due to unexplained 'technical issues' but we were refunded and the double room was superb anyway. A wedding meant we could not use the bar or restaurant and the noise went on until midnight, although we were emailed beforehand to warn us of this. Ear plugs would have been nice.

It is a beautiful building and it has been beautifully restored. The rooms are spacious and very well decorated. There is a good restaurant in house. The location is perfect, right next to the river.

The only point we missed is that you are not able to make your coffee or tea in the room

The Renthof is a hidden gem, yes it is a little quirky but that only adds to the appeal, staff were great, friendly and helpful, the hotel is fabulous, the room great, nothing to fault. Will be back in the summer

Beautifully renovated building; a labor of love. Excellent taste. We were there in early January, probably not the best time to visit Kassel? But the hotel alone really was a highlight of the stop. Very good restaurant.

Small details in the room: poor lighting (what's up with the reading lights?), no sheers (so, can't open curtains because there are offices directly across), no temperature control...

they prepared a bed, treats and water for our dog in our room !

Restaurant was very pleasant, BUT we only arrived at 9pm after a long drive and the staff were clearly overworked and a bit light on numbers...my children were tired after our journey and waiting 15 minutes to even get offered a drink is not what we expected....so the service was not as good as it could have been. That said, the food was good quality when it arrived and the overworked waitress did her best to smile....and she apologised too....so many places seem to struggle with staff numbers these days......

The breakfast is very good, everything you need is there, the staff are very kind, the atmosphere is very good, quite quiet, but the air conditioning is not very good, a bit stuffy.

Nothing very bad happened, I just wish the free water was available in bigger bottles, I would like to drink more water.

Very beautiful hotel with gorgeous and spacious hotel rooms with creative decor.
