staff were pleasant and beachfront chairs and area was nice, great to have bikes at property

was a long haul up lots of stairs with heavy bags, rooms were in need of an update, a little far to restaurants

corner room balcony beach view, excellent air conditioner, comfy king size bed, couch in room quiet, helpful staff, 10 minute beach walk to restaurants, etc.

strong sewer gas type of smell in bathroom and outdoor surroundings was a powerful negative, locks tricky to operate, no safe in room but staff held our things for safe-keeping, upholstered chair in room badly stained, asked for but didn't get more hangers.

Place was clean. Staff friendly.

They were rebuilding a shoreline bulkhead. This restricted use of the shoreline and created noise during the day.

Pretty ok place, spacious and clean room with balcony, but the venue itself is a bit outdated. Nice people working there, the place is a bit further from the main part of the island (still walking distance along the beach) - if you are looking for more relaxed and calm area, it will be perfect.

The place is ‘okay’ but wasn’t quite as advertised in our opinion. For example, the ‘beach’ is not really a beach, it’s gravel and there is a wall rather than a shoreline so water access is only via the pier. Also, it feels like very public. There is a pier (or ‘dock’ as they call it) which belongs to the hotel but it’s a very public facility and whilst the local kids are cute, the adults made us feel we were invading their space and the vibe was definitely not conducive to relaxing. The staff, whilst very pleasant, were in no way forthcoming with doing anything helpful for us (other than trying to push for tour bookings) so for example we’d have to ask for sun beds to be put out and drag them out ourselves. We checked if the pier was supposed to be for guests only and they confirmed it was but never did anything to stop it being used by everyone, despite us highlighting to them. The manager was frequently doing other noisy tasks in the main shared area such as vehicle maintenance which again was a turn-off for us in what would otherwise have been an idyllic setting (sitting watching the sea with reviving engines and metal grinding is not a good combo). Overall it was apparent that the hotel and grounds were not being kept up anywhere near as well as most hotels we observed on the island.

The beach right outside, I was obsessed could watch the sunrise every single morning.

My only wish is that the restaurant in the facility was open. But I don’t know it’s currently close. There’s definitely tons of other restaurants and near by but I did wish at time that I could order right from the pool without leaving the hotel.

the location was to far from the center and the main beaches. there were a lot of ants in the room
