Lovely breakfast and staff looked after us really well. The location is lovely overlooking Loch Awe - very peaceful & relaxing.
Had some plumbing problems with hot tap in sink which was looked into immediately to be repaired later. Unfortunately room was noisy at night with vibrations from pipe work under the floor - we told staff on checking out & were informed it was because we were right beside the boiler room which was next door to us! We suggested it could be looked into & remedied with pipe insulation & securing pipes as a solution. Wearing ear plugs at night was our short term solution!

The hotel is in such a beautiful location over looking the loch…the perfect place to chill out and relax. One of the most dog friendly hotels we’ve ever stayed in! The staff are all super friendly and helpful….especially the bar and restaurant staff, they couldn’t have been more helpful. Special mention to the girl who worked the bar while we were there and served us the most amazing cocktails - her service was faultless and a credit to the hotel.
Loved the outside seating area with fire pits looking onto the water! Just beautiful!
Defo recommend this hotel - pretty amazing for a 3 star hotel!
Our stay wasn’t long enough!!!!

Stunning peaceful location and very friendly staff. Restaurant was excellent, especially the home made bread! Really enjoyed our one night here and wish we could have stayed for longer
Just a teeny tiny thing, but the loo didn't refill for quote some time in our room which was a bit of a pain sometime, but really minor, mostly everything was perfect

Location was stunning. Room was huge with a lovely view. Lots of breakfast options. Loved the fire pit put on in the garden.
Lack of conditioner in the bathroom. Food in the restaurant (we felt) was overpriced and lacked in healthier options.

Beautiful location, off the beaten track. Friendly service, excellent food. Dogs welcome, but hotel is spotlessly clean throughout. Nice outdoor area to enjoy the views.

Very friendly staff, excellent food and great location. Within 30 min car drive many excellent places for walks and hikes along the coast. Perfect for a few days away from everything.
Electrical vehicle charging station with type 2 plus for AC at least would make it easier for
EV travelers from abroad, as the Scottish chargeplace system has some downfalls for overseaes customers. Hiking trails close by would have been great, so one not always has to use the car.

Dinner and Breakfast and of course wonderful location. The staff were truly excellent and very friendly. The menu for dinner was restricted due to some staff absence due to Covid , but we had an excellent dinner. Great value. The management is fully involved and available to chat , something that is not always seen in some hotels. Definitely worth visiting .
We were totally satisfied - no complaints although it is not the easiest place to get to . Worth the effort though.

Relaxed comfortable hotel that offers good food. Nice to have a choice of experiencing fine dining or a bar meal. Accommodated our dogs very well. Lovely position.
The only negative was on arrival I did not get a friendly welcome at reception. We arrived before check in time for light lunch which was lovely but shame about the frosty first greeting.

Sipping drinks by the lake edge, watching the sun go down with little fires for each setting was beautiful.
Dinner was of a very high standard. The choices were excellent.
We liked everything but there were two minor issues. We found out a check-out that they had a problem with the shower in our room (Room Fyne) and unfortunately the temperature was very cool. We should have mentioned it at breakfast the next morning. The bath water temperature was perfect. The sinks also didn't drain very well. We pointed out these to M Michelle and she is such a perfectionist, I am sure they will have been attended to by now.

The location could not be faulted, views over Loch Awe were superb.
Menu didn't suit our taste, bar food could be available into evening!
