Lovely welcoming and interesting small hotel tucked behind a wall . Close to the beach promenade and easy walking to explore French Puducherry. The dinner menu was a lovely mix of French and Indian flavours - tasty, interesting, and beautifully presented . Great breakfast . We had the top terrace to ourselves , which afforded interesting views of the surrounding area. Lovely fruit and drinks provided freshly easy day . Great pool . The squirrels zipping up the trees were lovely to watch . Fabulous car and driver arranged by the hotel for our return trip to Chennai - would recommend booking this .

A large storm caused a lot of water to come through the doors , and we needed to have someone provide extra towels to reduce the ingress . A lovely room all the same .

Very beautiful unique villa in French style. Helpful staff . My husband and I were staying there for my birthday. The chief is just excellent! Set menu for 7 different dishes, taking in consideration all the restriction on food we have and just really surprised us with French fine dining. Bravo to all off the management and staff!

I loved the combination of the historic house with the discreet modern additions. Our room was an amazing haven that we would have liked more time to appreciate.

Very friendly service in the restaurant but slightly haphazard.

There are some things that are a bit dated. With some TLC it could be a really nice hotel.
