Absolutely charming, near the city center and various University buildings

Perfect location

Communication was great. We arrived and were showed to the room by a friendly staff member. The vintage decor in the rooms and breakfast area were magical bringing up a nostalgia for the cottage style homes you would find in Tokai or Clanwilliam. The room sported a usable balcony & incredible skylights in both the bed and bathroom. The shower was adequate and the room itself quite homely. Breakfast was excellent with a chef providing perfectly made poached eggs and willing to go the extra mile of replacing the bacon with mushrooms. Bonus: I only eat custard danishes and lo and behold to my definite pleasure that is the delicacy that was provided. Thank you :).

The only gripe i would have is the two single beds moved together. You can never escape the joint between the two beds.

The house is superb, very classy, charming. the location is also great, you can walk everywhere from there. Staff was extremely friendly!

I did a mistake of taking a simple room, and it was too simple.. compared to the rooms in the mansion, my room was tiny and faced the parking.

A short walk into town. A tranquil atmosphere in the hotel which was full of character. The staff were exceedingly helpful.

The airport pick up organised by the hotel failed to materialise and we took an Uber instead. The hotel was apologetic but it didn’t get us off to the best start
