This is my fourth time staying at Hotel Elena --- I love the location, the spacious rooms with terraces and most of all the staff that brings heart and soul to the whole experience. I can't wait to return!

We loved this Hotel, our huge room had a balcony overlooking the main square in Stresa and would have been quite grand back in the day. The whole place was spotless and the staff were very welcoming, particularly the owner, she even baked cake!

At this price nothing, we will stay again next time we are in Stresa.

The property is a bit run-down but hard to complain for the price.

Location is very convenient, especially if one is without a car, and breakfast was excellent.

Walls are too thin and we could hear the news on TV at 6.30 in the morning from the neighboring room. Understandable since the building is old, just unfortunate.

Located right at the central square of the town, which is super convenient but undoubtedly can be noisy. The host offered me a room facing the backyard which is much quieter and also has a nice little balcony (could be very warm in summer mornings so one should only lift up the blinders in the afternoon/evening). There is no air-con in the room but the fan does the job. The facilities are basic but functioning well. The room has everything I needed including free bottles of water in a mini fridge, which is a blessing in hot summer. It's a family-owned little hotel and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall great value for money.

Excellent location - right in the center of Stresa. The breakfast is excellent with good selection. The staff is helpful and friendly. The ceiling fan does a good job during warm nights. You can leave your car in the large parking lot overnight at the port (about 100m from the hotel), but you pay during the day.

The street is noisy during the night before midnight. There is no free parking close to the hotel but parking is not bad in Stresa. Be aware that the free parking at Piazza Capucci is closed between 6AM and 2PM on Fridays due to the market there.

In the centre of the town.

The breakfast was top notch and the location is great. It is very close to the ferries that will take you to the nearby islands and overlooks a cute square.

Great location in the heart of the centre, good breakfast and friendly staff

A little bit noisy at night but the location makes up for that. Room is basic and wifi a bit intermittent but I was only there to sleep

Nice staff. Very good possition close to the port and shops. We had comfortable room with a balcony to quiet courtyard. Our room was bigger then I expeted and good equipped. P.S.: Kisses to sweet dog Kaula. (If you like dogs and she is there find a few minutes for a play ;o) )
