Very good location in relation to the price. Near the metro line that takes you to all the essentials. A couple of good and cheap cafes on the same street. Small, cozy terrace. Authentic historical Lisbon building with tiles.

Narrow and steep stairs. Low and slanting ceilings in frequently used locations which you may bump your head on.

The apartment is very authentic, allowing you to experience the atmosphere of Lisbon and its people through their surroundings. The hostess is very accessible, always in touch, and responds very quickly.

However, tall people will feel uncomfortable here, especially in the bathroom. The soundproofing is terrible. When people were entering the apartment next door, I left the bathroom and felt as if they had entered my door by mistake. I could hear the construction workers renovating the building next door, as if they were talking and listening to the radio in the next room. Furthermore, when it rained, the ceiling in the bathroom leaked, as the apartment is under the roof.
