The best choice in Chernivtsi, plain and simple. Absolute centre, on the promenade, yet silent and private, located in the inner courtyard of a music academy. We arrived tired from a mountain hike and enjoyed a superb romantic evening walking the promenade O.Kobylyanska Street and had oysters with wine in Chernomorka restaurant nearby. The staff at the hotel went out of their way to help/ provide info. Highly recommended place.

Everything was great. The only sad thing is that at 11:30 pm the street lights are off and restaurants close promptly for a wartime curfew. It is the reality in Ukraine but still feels very sad.

Although we had a booking, the owner of the hotel didn’t want us to stay saying that we arrived to late although the hotel is 24/7. We booked 3 rooms and still he metioned that he doesn’t have availability. We arrived at 04:30 am and couldn’t stay there so we had to search in the city for another hotel, luckily we found Bukovina hotel that was willing to accommodate us. It is not safe at all to travel during the night knowing the circumstances the country is in. An no, there is no excuse to what happend to us - if you are not in business just stop taking reservations.

Great hotel and pleasant staff. Obviiusly difficult times at this period of time with regard to electricity and water.

OK so there was a problem with electricity and when on the staff did there best to supply us with a kettle and a heater. The downside was that without the heater the room would have been cold but the rest of the hotel was cold as they apparently had a technical problem and didn't seem to be able to find anyone to resolve the problem in supplying heating throughout the hotels.. We were lucky as we only stayed one night but there didn't seem any provision to be able to supply some form of lighting in the room should the power have gone during the early evening. The final downside was the restaurant only seemed to work between 08.09 to 10.00 am and supply just breakfast with no provision to supple any form of breakfast if you needed to have an early checkout.

The hotel is nice But the staff/manager adds an extra 15 % to the bill if you use creditcard It's fraud and stealing I was supposed to pay 4100 hrufnar(720 dkk)but ended up paying 4700(860 dkk) hrufnar! Roughly overcharged 15% Do not stay in this hotel, for sure do not use creditcard and book via this site since they allow the hotel to charge by creditcard befor you arrive thus helping them steal your money They should allow them to block the money, and then ask the customer upon arrival if to pay by creditcard or cash, thus avoiding people being robed of their money, Why do the precharge before arrival, not allowing cash, in order to overcharge and steal your money I work as a volunteer in ukraine and its so shamefully to experience this kind of behaviour from a hotel in a country I am helping
