Area was good. Availability late at night was absolute plus. Thank you
Aircon wasn't working and heater coudn't reach the bed nor the desk. The kettle wasn't working.

Location and security was good
No back up generator, and no sufficient back up ligts during loadshedding. Was pitch black in the rooms and corridors during loadshedding. Big towel cut in half for a hand towel in my parents room...even had stains on them. No hand soap in bathroom, only small shower gel.

Everything starting from booking, checking, room cold water cold, standard has dropped. No longer Elegant Lodge we used to know. Under new management or ownership? Improve please.

The place is neat and tidy. The garden is beautiful.
The bar is not well stocked. They don't have breakfast and must be arranged, it is R100pp but you don't know what you get for R100pp, they only asked if we need brown or white toats.

There was no generator on the premises so we went to bed with loadshedding and woke up in the morning to loadshedding - very irritating!!

Paper thin walls, we were disturbed by people making noise on the hallway. The rooms are old fashioned. The hotel need a serious revamping.
