The pool is large and clean. The beach is easily accessible, stony but with such clear water. The room was clean with nice towels. Breakfast was ok.

There was a lack of amenities, at least in my room. The bathroom had some liquid shower gel but no other toiletries, no hooks or towel bars to hang your towels. The shower was poorly designed and caused water to run all over the floor. No glasses for water, no bedside table, no tea or coffee facilities. The oversized furniture made the room so cramped. The hotel is far from town and an expensive taxi ride to get there.

Gorgeous amenities ~ pool, right next to the beach, umbrellas and chairs available, nice restaurant & parking available. It’s also a 10 minute drive away from grocery stores etc. also the family who runs it is lovely and very kind.

The rooms could use a slight upgrade, maybe some new pillows and a larger sheet for the bed as my partner and I, did not fit under one, and it’s only a sheet with no duvet. Other than that, wonderful stay!

Rooms were small and outdated. Hardly had space to open suitcase. Under beds were dusty and had someone's old makeup sponge underneath. Seats in balcony were dirty and had no table. No soap in rooms, only shower gel (advertised facilities state all shower items are provided) shower doesnt have a door which meant the floor was soaked! Drinks menu is available but most of drinks advertised are not available including cocktails. As for the house white wine....toxic! Breakfast...poor. One type of bread, no croissants. No gluten free or alternative milk options or breakfast tea available. Didn't eat any thing else here. Pool was dirty, chipped tiles along edges and steps. No sun umbrellas available. Sun loungers were grubby. The slide was missing second step at the top which made it dangerous which meant a very disappointed 3 year old! Way over priced!

We had a sea view room which was amazing and we were also able to watch the sunset every night. Private beach which comes with free sun loungers was also lovely.

To begin with, the location of the property is very out of the way unless you own a car. We had to walk for an hour or spend €15/20 on taxis every time we left the hotel. The breakfast was actually awful, everything was very poorly made so we barely ate. Hotel restaurant which you have to pay for is even worse, not sure why this hotel calls itself a pizzeria but that’s definitely not the case. Don’t even get me started on the WiFi which would disconnect every 10 minutes. The room itself was okay but I did hurt my leg on the bed frame surrounding it as has sharp corners with very little space to walk around it. The shower floor is also flat so the water goes everywhere when you take a shower, not ideal.

Very peaceful, lovely staff, beautiful view, very nice private beach.

it needs a bit maintenance since there was couple broken things here and there.

The hotel has a big swimming pool and a private beach so you don't have to go further than it's facilities to enjoy your day. Good parking spots.

Breakfast was kind of poor and of bad quality. Rooms weren't very clean and no toiletries except for one shampoo. Staff didn't bother much unless when asked for something. Pretty far away from city center so travelling is a must.

Everything is really good

Loved the swimming pool really great and deep and the view was absolutely lovely. There are not many hotels in Saranda with a pool and this was really clean and a good size.

The double bed was awkward with the wood surround it (may not be similar in other rooms) and with little room to walk past it I hurt my leg on it the first day we arrived. Was a little out of town so a courtesy bus or similar would have been good or advice and assistance getting a taxi. No welcome or friendliness from the manager or any of the staff (apart from the cleaners) which is a shame as this hotel could be a real gem in the future.

The hotel location is nice and we really enjoyed the pool and the private beach with free sun beds. The hotel staff is friendly and helped us with everything we needed. Because we arrived late in the first day and the hotel restaurant was closed, the staff took us to a restaurant nearby and when we finished they came to pick up us to return to the hotel. Overall, we had a nice stay here.

Even tough the hotel is 4 stars rated, the rooms are not. The furniture is old and we were missing some essential things: hair dryer, toilet brush, towel racks in the bathroom. Improvements should be done to the rooms in order to be more comfortable and appropriate to a 4 stars rated hotel.

The owner was very nice. Really helpful and friendly. All the staff were great. Very friendly. Great facilities with Pool, Bar, Restaurant and proximity to Beach/City Centre. Would highly recommend this hotel!

The breakfast was okay, but the bread was not very good, so it would have been great if they had had a toaster.

The beds were extremely soft - so not very comfortable.

The sea view room from our room was spectacular and the pool was a good size and having the beach on the door step is very useful.

The room and the rest of the hotel is in need of modernisation and is not very practical, particularly not having many plug sockets and storage. The walk in shower would always flood the bathroom floor which was such a pain to keep having to dry to use afterwards. The location of the hotel is very secluded and so you’ll need transport or a taxi every time you want to go to town which is about 15/20 mins and the taxis seem to charge €20 one way. So it can get expensive to travel around.

Location is very good free parking is very important in saranda private beach and great sea view 5 minutes by car to city , every day rooms service..

location is top IF you have your own car, otherwise it is to far from the centre, private beach is nice

ac was not working or very poorly, electricity was more off then on in the room, they promised a baby bed at 2pm (reception), at 6pm (owner) and when we came back at 10pm it was still not there. coffee in the morning is cold (thermos) and they charge you extra for a fresh coffee. the owner is just sitting there all day not managing his (friendly) staff! a shame, could be a nice place. 4 star hotel?

the view from the room is amazing ! I could see the whole town and the beach. I could open the whole window as it's a wall size window , and it's amazing. the wind blows right to the bed and in your room. you feel like you are on the beach the hotel has a big parking lot, it's nearby the town, and you can use some stairs to get to the beach below.

the breakfast is various and we'll equipped, but we didn't like it at all. it tastes weird and and it looks weird. difficult to find something to eat. the shower gel also smells weird

Our oom has an amazing view to the ocean, it was fantastic to wake up with the beautiful landscape every morning. The pool is really nice and we also has a good view from there. The breakfast has different food options and was good! The room was clean and confortable. The hotel has a car/taxi only for the customer, what made our life much easier there. The staffs are friendly and always in a good mood.

The hotel is not close to the town. The hotel payment and all the drinks had to be paid by cash. (for the hotel bill they offered the card payment with plus 3% of the total, but it wasn't the option that they preffered). In Saranda all the places seems to only accept cash.

Regarding this property I just liked the view, nothing more. The room wasn’t clean good, and the whole apartment is dated like they didn’t change the furniture for ages. you can spot on the dust everywhere! in the room we didn’t have even head lambs, and no sockets next to the bed! we had just one socket to use, opposite of the bed and was not safety at all! The staff was friendly, but not any experience how to deal with the guests. really is not worth for the money you are paying. The hotel is not even in Saranda, it’s between Saranda and Ksamil. I’m traveller for a long time and we have our properties which we are renting, so as a experienced host I DO NOT recommend this apartment for staying!

Hotel Dodona is in a beautiful and quiet location. Amazing and nice staff, rooms clean and cleaned daily. The children appreciated the pool at the hotel and it is a few steps to the beach where there are free sunbeds and umbrellas. Right next to the hotel, the Bistrice river flows into the Ionian Sea, the water is beautifully clear. The beach was also cleaned daily. And the breakfasts were rich and fantastic. I appreciated the hairdryer and small fridge. We will definitely come back sometime.

I missed a bit the drying rack for towels and bathing suits on the balcony. But that's a small thing.

I like many things to be honest Room: room was Super clean, equiped with all necessary things. For Arab travelers: bathroom is equipped with bidet. AC was great especially weather was very hot. Parking is available for cars. Stuff: stuff are super nice and sweet, and very helpful Restaurant: food is having reasonable prices and very delicious, especially fish it's fresh and delicious. Breakfast: having lot of variety and many options, i enjoyed the breakfast next to the swimming pool and with great view of the city. The hotel is located on nice location with great view of the city. Swimming pool is incredibly awesome. This place is the best option in the city with reasonable price including all the options and family friendly.
