Suleyman este extrem de amabil si ne-a organizat activitati frumoase. Ne-a intimpinat cu cina in desert,ne-a servit ceai si a organizat un foc de tabara cu shisha. Are legaturi stranse cu turistii romani inclusiv cu vlogarii Hai hui in doi care s-au cazat aici in 2021. Campul sau este mai izolat si da impresia de intimitate.Familia mea s-a simtit foarte bine,Suleyman le-a facut copiilor fotografii superbe sub stele. In plus peste tot era curat. Multumim.

Staff was very kind, owner wait us in visitor centar and guide you to the camp, tour was excelent and dinner is must. It was the best night in Jordan and so quete for sleep and enjoy stars. All reccomendation for this camp.

1. You have to drive there with you own car following the owner Suleyman. He takes the trip with you so this is probably to avoid leaving your car at the visitors centre as they would have to pay extra. Needless to say the road is bumpy and you can get stuck in the sand if you are not experienced. 2. We booked the nicer tents. They are nice and have a good view, probably the best mattress and pillows on our whole trip. There was an AC there and the tent was boiling, understandably it is in a desserts. But AC was only working from 9pm. when asked how come Suleyman said that the AC was not included in the room anyway and is a bonus. That is why you see 2 listings for the same tent. higher price is with 24/7 AC. I thought this is a bit tricky on the camps side to be honest, we had a nice room but we could not use it during the day as it was too hot in there. so you have to hang out in the common tent where there is AC but it is not private. 3. jeep tour driver was not attentive in the first half of the tour. when we get to the bridge he asks for your phone to take pictures but then chats with his friends and only takes a few bad pictures after shouting down to him. second half he was more interactive and okay

We enjoyed staying here. The staff is amazing and the rooms have been comfortable and immaculate. All around great place to stay! Highly recommended!

Since we chose the rental car for transportation, we did not have any problems in finding the campsite. They accompanied us in our car and took them to the camp. The breakfast was very good. We preferred local dishes from Jordan. They waited for our arrival time and rest for breakfast time. The staff were very friendly. They fulfilled what we wanted. In the afternoon we went on a full package desert tour. Farq, who accompanied us on the desert tour, was a very nice person. We recommend the desert tour with a full package to those who participate in the tour. We had the dinner after sunset with Bedouin dishes and local dishes. After dinner, we talked to the guests in the camp over the campfire and tea. Our time in the desert was perfect. We definitely recommend it.

Everything was at superlative. Suleiman was an amazing host, I am grateful that we managed to find this accommodation. Dinner, the jeep tour, camel ride, fireplace - we had a once in a lifetime experience. You should definitely book this place.

We enjoyed our time in Sand Star camp a lot. The tent was spacious and the beds were comfortable, the food was great and the host Suleyman is really an awesome guy, he is very friendly and nice to talk to. I would also recommend to do a tour with him, we really enjoyed riding the camels.

The location, the view, the staff and the food. Also the jeep trip and the camel ride were so nice.

The AC was not working so we were not able to heat the room over night but in the end it was not so bad.

The property, conditions, staff and experiences exceeded our expectations. The dinner and breakfast were delicious (the best we ate in Jordan). Tour jeep was amazing! The rooms were warm and comfortable with a great view and all the facilities. The wi-fi is working on restaurant area, not in the rooms.

On Booking.com he's just put visitor centre as the location because it is easier to find for tourists.

If you want to enjoy the Wadi Rum desert, this camp cannot disappoint. The host Suleman was most helpful and we have fell in love with the desert thanks to him and his team of colleagues. The dinners and breakfasts were also exceptional, as were the jeep tour and camel ride to the desert. We are definitely coming back.

Amazing edperie with an amazing guest

When I saw this camp I thought that it was too good to be true! Good location. Easy access from the main road to the camp. It is possible to drive yourself to the camp. Free parking. Clean and comfortable room with an amazing view. Comfortable bed. We saw the most amazing sunrise from our room, it was magical! Bathroom with hot shower and AC/heating. The jeep tour is a must, it was a bit windy but totally worth it. We took the 4-hour jeep and it was the coolest experience ever. We had so much fun on the tour. We really recommend this adventure! The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The food was delicious: fresh and a lot of variety( both breakfast and dinner). Suleiman went above and beyond during our stay, he even surprised me with a birthday cake, in the middle of the desert. Had a fantastic stay, we would've stayed longer but we had to go back home! I totally recommend the Sand Star Camp.

Good communication via WhatsApp before arrival. It is possible to drive yourself to the camp with a normal rental car. Free parking. Good clean comfortable room with very good en-suite bathroom with hot shower. Air-con and power points in the rooms. Great staff and fantastic dinner. Fantastic value for money, and almost surreal to have this much luxury in a desert. Was waiting for the catch as this deal seemed to good to be true, there were none! Had a fantastic stay, no surprises, should have stayed longer!

Hard to look for negatives after such a wonderful stay. A little close to other camps making the experience feel a little commercialized. The guide we had on the desert tour spoke little to none English. No reason to skip this place, book it!

I'm so glad that I chose the Sand Star Camp and I was not the only one. I didn't know what to expect. I couldn't have asked for more. The hospitality shown by everyone including Mohamad and especially Suleiman was genuine and warm. Perfect location surrounded by amazing rock formations. Comfortable bed, hot shower in the morning and big breakfast. The first night I was there I had dinner which was by far the best food I have had in Jordan. The BBQ meat and vegetables along with salads was perfect and all of this in the desert. The jeep tour is a must, I gave the camel ride a miss, too scary. When I was leaving Suleiman organised for the taxi to come pick me up from camp, you'd be mad not to come to this camp. I'm hoping to return next year and I'll be back to the Sand Star Camp.

Cannot imagine a better camp. The view from the room was amazing, the host was incredibly nice, informative and helpful. We also did a desert tour which I highly recommend, the food was delicious, we had an unforgettable experience.
