The space was very modern and relaxing and the host was incredible. I had a rough travel day and arrived late, but she was there when I arrived and stocked the space with snacks so I had something to eat. The area was hit with a snow storm that was out of the ordinary and she insisted that I park in the garage so I didn’t have to scrape ice off of my car. I felt very welcome and cared for. The views from the space are awesome. My mornings were spent reading a book with a cup of coffee beside the gas fireplace with the sea lions barking in the distance. An amazing and relaxing experience that you have to experience to appreciate.

Imagine waking up to see eagles soar out over the ocean. Nestled in a quiet neighbourhood and set well back from the street, this ocean front property was a perfect spot for basing a stay in Parksville. The unit looks brand new and is very well maintained. The hosts were awesome in getting back to us when we had questions. They even provided a few essentials (cream for coffee) when we arrived a bit later than planned.

From the first communication to the last hug as we left........ it was perfect. We just felt honored that Connie & Dean let us enjoy their little piece of paradise for a few days. We were there for our 25th anniversary and the minute I Spoke to Connie on the phone to ask her about special requests she was more than accommodating. The property was stunning and the coach house was super clean, very well stocked and has a great view. We will definitely stay again with her as a host.

The property was top-notch! Great view from the large deck and plenty of privacy even with the owner's home on the same property. We were met by Connie, the owner, when we arrived, for access fobs & details. Connie is very nice and we had a few good conversations with her. The accommodation is modern, spacious and well laid out. We highly enjoyed our stay, walking on the beach just behind the property and seeing eagles soaring!

Our stay in Parksville was one of our best experiences! The apartment is beautifully located overlooking the water and thanks to Connie has everything you could need. We were thrilled to be entertained on our last day by three orcas visible from the balcony. We would definitely recommend and hope to be back.

This property is fantastic. High quality furnishing and appliances, extremely well- stocked with a ton of amenities. Bed is super comfy. And the views are spectacular! Large windows provide an ocean view in one direction and a mountain view in the other. Location was great since it's located in a very quiet neighbourhood, but not far from shopping and amenities. Connie and Dean were lovely and the most helpful and accommodating hosts. They made us feel extremely welcome. Can't wait to go back!

Connie and Dean are amazing hosts. Connie was especially welcoming, friendly, genuinely caring and interested in the quality of our experience there. The communication from the time of booking to the time we left was excellent. Connie was there to greet us and walk us through the unit to explain how everything worked.
The accommodation was spotlessly clean. The attention to detail was amazing. The fridge was stocked with butter, jam, orange juice, half & half milk and ice. There was a bowl of fruit on the table as well as a bowl of oranges a loaf of bread and a bag of cookies on the counter when we arrived.
There was really nothing more we could have asked for. Everything about our experience there was more than we expected. We did not want to leave and we look forward to returning.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The view is fabulous. The place is bright, clean and quiet. The deck catches the early morning sun great for morning coffee and gazing over the ocean. The bed is very comfortable. The kitchen has all the essentials one needs. The location is a perfect spot from which to cycle the area. The host Connie is a very kind and helpful. We enjoyed meeting her and her husband Dean. We will stay again.

Loved everything about this property, including all interactions with Connie and Dean, who were extremely friendly and accommodating with everything, including help with booking a return ferry when problems with Iphone were experienced. Terrific location with ocean view, great amenities and immaculate suite and surrounding grounds and landscaping. Loved everything about it and Connie was an absolute joy! Would return in a heartbeat!

Our stay at Connie’s place was just exceptional. She is the kindest, most generous, and thoughtful host I have ever seen. We were there for a long stay. The suite was super clean, the view was suberb. The suite was extremely well equiped from kitchen to bathroom. The location was perfect, in a very safe neighborhood, close to the beach and downtown. Communication with Connie was easy. She is just the best. We had the most wonderful holiday, and found friends for a lifetimr. Words cannot express our gratitude.

PERFECT
Spent 2 weeks at this lovely property. Connie and Dean treated us like welcome guests. The apartment was spotless with every convenience you could ask for. Connie included supplies for a 1st morning breakfast and even laundered all the linens after the first week. We’ve never had that in the many vacation properties we have stayed at. It was located in a quiet, walkable neighborhood and the views from the deck were stunning. Could not have been more accommodating even with our little dog.

Peaceful getaway with amazing views
Very comfortable, with lots of natural light coming through large windows. The oceans views from the living room and bedroom were amazing, with bald eagles soaring overhead and resting atop nearby trees. A truly stunning property with a gracious host.

Beautiful garage suite with amazing views of the ocean in one direction and mountains in the other, located in a quiet residential neighbourhood within east driving distance of downtown Parksville and Qualicum Beach. Very well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and living room, spacious with two large decks, and immaculate. We are a well travelled couple and this is one of the best accommodations we’ve ever stayed in.

My stay on this property exceeded my expectations in every way. The suite is very well supplied and the hosts are amazing. The east facing deck was a lovely sunny spot to enjoy my morning coffee and the north ocean facing deck provides a perfect place to enjoy the peaceful scene of water with eagles soaring overhead.

We cannot say enough about Connie and Dean’s carriage house! The views are wonderful! Their yard is gorgeous and it’s very easy to tell they take pride in their piece of heaven. A perfect stay
We have been to many VRBO and this property was above and beyond all of them. We were greeted warmly by Connie and Dean, and found lovely treats, many breakfast items in case we hadn’t brought our own, and many more extras. The suite was immaculate and the views excellent. We have already recommended the vacation rental to family and friends, and am certain we’ll be back to enjoy the perfect home away from home.
