Spacious, bright, quiet and central

Difficult to access with heavy luggage because of stairs. The apartment is halfway up one of the sides of the Old Town so not recommended for travellers with large suitcases.

This is a great location and very central to all that Dubrovnik has to offer. The apartment is kept well and if comfortable. The staff in the office are exceptional and will go out of there way to assist you.

Whilst it was fine for our family, this apartment is up a lot of steps so would not suit everyone.

We loved the design of the apartment and especially the lounge area. The sofas in the lounge are large and comfortable, it is nice to have our party all in one lane lounge and cooking area. The windows seem small but there is actually good light so a nice ambiance. Also nice how the bedrooms and bathroom is on a separate level. The apartment is also quiet.

Although we really loved the apartment, especially the kitchen lounge area, there were some things we were uncomfortable with. Not sure why, but the electrical cords of all the heaters had been cut and reattached with tape, there was also some other electrical issues we were not comfortable with. Some smaller issues, the toilet had been repaired with duct tape, tea bags and other supplies left for us being stored next to the garbage bin under the sink, shower was a little dirty and the attachment for the shower head on the wall was broken, there were sticky cup marks on the table, dishes were damaged and cracked. Despite these issues we really enjoyed our stay, the host was also lovely and a pleasure to communicate with.

The apartment is nice with a pleasant and large living area and a couple of good sized bedrooms. Sofa-beds in the lounge sleep more people comfortably. If you are coming to Dubrovnik for a short time, I would strongly recommend staying within the city walls with easy access to the attractions and a wide range of wonderful restaurants. As such, this is a perfect spot for a short stay. You are a little away from the main centre but this makes for a quieter stay. Picking the key up from a different location proved easy and the staff were helpful.

No major problems with the property. Like lots of places in Croatia, they just have air-con in one room rather than all bedrooms so during the high heat of summer, we had to sleep with bedroom doors open. This was exacerbated by only having one broken fan in the apartment which we immediately reported but it was not replaced during our stay. Not a problem as such but we were surprised at the number of stairs to get up to the property. The central road is the lowest point and the ground rises steeply on both sides so be ready for it! Make sure you are dropped at the Pila Gate. This is much closer to the key pickup and apartment. It's a long, hot walk with luggage from the other entrance.
