Unfortunatelly the whole experience was bad. I even contacted the property owner but didn't get any answer.

The room was not clean the room smelled like dry piss, underneath the bed was a complete mess, you can see no one had cleaned it for months, the 2nd-floor bathroom was not clean, the kitchen appliances were not properly cleaned, you can see the trail of whatever they used to clean it in the appliances. There were food leftovers on the living room shelf, the kitchen doesn't have proper cutlery, plates or cups to use and I had to use a cup (a broken one) that was in the dishwasher but it was dirty, even with mould inside of it and the bed cover in room 1 hasn’t been washed. You can feel the mattress springs in the back and a person who was cleaning the property used the kitchen sink to wash the slippers of the house. We had to book and move despite the high monetary cost of doing so. I'm not sure if this is the standard for a 7.4 guesthouse in a city like Vancouver. I contacted the property but until today I haven't had any type of answer.

Very big size definitely matched quality of stay to the price. Recommend!!

Sound travels a bit between rooms

I liked the location, the privacy, and the modern building. The room was well equipped and had a car parking spot and security.

I have concerns about the cleanliness, whether inside the rooms or in the washroom. Additionally, there was never any toilet paper in the washroom.

Budget friendly. The location was good for me. It is a short walk to the train station, and a bus to the train station stops on the same side of the road a few houses to the easr of the house,. Lots of places to get food near by.. A number of parks within a short walk.

Not so much what I didn't like, but what others may have issues with. Firstly no staff (thus the lower score). You get the door code via bookings.com message, enter and see a sign saying your room is upstairs. Your room number is on bookings.com message.with the key hanging on the door handle. The other thing that may catch westerners off guard is the request not to wear shoes inside past the lobby. (Slippers provided). Having lived in Asia this wasn't an issue for me, but one guest stomped upstairs in his boots. The owner requests guests clean up after themselves, but some people won't, and some kids clothing was left around for days (the cleaner, a nice friendly man,came as I checked out and would have had a bit of work tidying up the downstairs living areas: this is another issue I lowered the overall score on.

The room and the stay was worth the price

The property was nice but was little less maintained when you go the kitchen.

Very dirty, didn’t look like pictures at all, home is run down, staff kicked us out of the bathroom to clean although after it still looked dirty. Not sanitary

1) A large and modern television with all streaming services on board. 2) Clean and freshly laundered bed linen. 3) Pretty comfortable bed. 4) The presence of a small refrigerator right in the room. 5) A clean toilet and bath. 6) A large wardrobe with plenty of hangers.

1) We asked if there was a microwave in the room, and we were told - yes. However, when we opened it, we were shocked because it was so dirty inside that mold had grown, indicating that it hadn't been cleaned for a long time. Therefore, we couldn't heat our food. 2) Until 12:40 AM, there was an old man wandering around the entire building, creating a lot of noise. He was flipping some metal objects in the kitchen, then went to the bathroom about ten times, always loudly slamming the door behind him. Moreover, he shouted something a few times, which made us feel unsafe. 3) There was a lot of dust on the shelves and cobwebs on the ceiling in the bathroom. Yes, it's not critical, but it doesn't take much time and effort to clean it up.

It was easy to find and get settled in. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable.

The room was very warm and there was no way to reduce the heating, luckily the window opened easily so I could cool down a bit.
