Zimmer und Pool waren super

Fast niemand sprach Englisch, das Personal entsprechend überfordert. Das Frühstücksbuffet sehr auf chinesische Gäste ausgerichtet. Gerichte nur lauwarm. Kaffee ungeniessbar…

Personalet talte ikke engelsk. Kun i receptionen talte de engelske. Der var ufattelig mange kinesere uden internationale adfærd. Et hotel med kasino er ikke behageligt for gæster der ikke spiller. Det kinesiske personale var direkte uforskammet

The rooms are nice and clean

Not for business travel. No iron and ironing board in the room and when asked, the hotel couldn’t deliver even a one set to the room. Elevator design is poor and the wait of the elevator takes 3-5 minutes when in comparison to other similar level hotels it’s a max of a 1 minute. Breakfast is located inconveniently on 10 floor which creates additional wait for the lift to arrive. They don’t have aircon in the hallway so prepare to sweat while waiting for the lift. Rooms are clean and nice.

Quite disappointed with this hotel. Nowhere in the description does it mention that it is actually a casino (one of hundreds in this city). When we arrived, we had to pass through very strict security. Bags all scanned and body pat down on arrival. Met with military typed staff on arrival. When going to check in, the staff member couldn’t find our booking. Most of the staff don’t speak English (majority are Chinese), so hard to communicate with. The entire hotel was filled with Chinese guests who were quite rude and smoke everywhere in the hotel. We didn’t see any other westerners during our stay. The TV didn’t work in our room. Staff came to swap it over, but after half an hour, that one didn’t work either. Pool and beach not easy to access. Need to go outside and around the building to get to it. Pool itself was very nice, but not a lot of chairs or sun lounges around it. Can’t order any food or drinks at the pool area. Didn’t swim in the beach, as it isn’t very clean (hotel has been built next to a sewerage plant). Would not recommend this hotel, unless gambling is your sole focus for being there, as it doesn’t have much else to offer.

La vue sur la mer

A l'arrivée, accueil à l'entrée sécurisée par deux policiers d'opérette figés au garde-à-vous puis, à la réception, par le salut militaire de deux autres. On noud a dit que la riche clientèle chinoise du casino adore... Nous avions choisi l'option la moins chère (100 dollars quand mème !) : un studio équipé d'une kitchenette. En fait, un simple évier sans le moindre matériel de table ni équipement de cuisson. Pas de lavabo (remplacé par l'évier de cuisine). Douche basique sans douchette et eau à peine tiède. TV chinoise avec Youtube comme unique chaîne. Couloir d'accès très sombre (pas d'éclaiage). On peut espérer que les autres options offrent des chambres plus confortables mais nous n'y retournerons pas pour vérifier.
