The Daffodil House was a charming and comfortable place to stay. It was perfect for the four of us. I loved how it was walkable to go down to the beach and into Pacific Grove.
You could also walk to Monterey and we were a quick 10 minute drive to Pebble Beach and Carmel.
I would highly recommend this charming house.

Very pretty and well maintained. Gorgeous kitchen with everything you need. So cozy - wish I could live there. Great location; very walkable. Soooo nice! There were six of us and everyone had more than enough space. A real crowd - pleaser.

The 3 stories of the Daffodil house are perfect for our family with 2 kids, 2 grandparents, and 2 parents. It's the most convenient location to spend lots of time at Lover's Point and walking along the water.

We enjoyed our stay and location of the Daffodil House. We were in the area running the Monterey Half Marathon.
The only small issue we had was while checking In the first night the instructions did not indicate to go through gate that gets you to door with the key pad but, we eventually figured it out. We arrived after dark and there was no porch light or lights in the side yard where we had to enter (once we figured that out). We managed with our cell phone flashlight but, I can see where this could be challenging for some.
Otherwise our stay was good.

Our family returned home for a family wedding and a little golf. The daffodil house was very comfortable and spacious for our adult family of 5. The neighborhood is quiet and convenient to walk about and see the beautiful coast line and find restaurants.
It was a great value.

It appears no expense was spared in building and furnishing this 1989 Victorian style home. Marble master bath with a chandelier over the clawfoot tub, a Wolf range in the spacious kitchen and quality cookware, linens and comfy king beds. It worked perfectly for our group of three couples. Great location just a block from Lover's Point and within walking distance of Pacific Grove restaurants. Just be fully aware that you will be walking up and down full flights of stairs multiple times daily since the bedrooms are on the bottom and top floors and the kitchen/living areas are on the second floor. There is a spacious garage which held two of our cars plus all six bicycles. Everyone raved over the home with one exception: the six chairs at the dining table have torn seat covers on two and long-expired padding on all. We spent hours eating, talking and playing games at the table so it was very noticeable.

Wonderful property that is well located, only a block to the ocean and a block to great food. The house has a charm that we loved and is very clean. Well worth the visit as we had plenty of room and amenities.

The Daffodil house exceeded our expectations. Very clean, fantastic location and a garage! So glad we could park and walk to restaurants, a small grocery store and of course the ocean.

We spent a wonderful week at Daffodil House. The location is perfect -- just a block downhill to the ocean and a block uphill into PG. The house is very well organized and comfortable, with everything you need for a great stay. Skylights and well-placed windows bring in lots of natural light, and the modern/Victorian style is pretty. We look forward to visiting again!

We loved this house and will definitely stay again. Minutes from the water with a great restaurant around the corner. House had everything you would need and the property owner was very responsive prior to the trip with all my questions. Can’t say enough about this place.

Very nice house. Loved that it had a garage. It had everything I needed to cook but with all the nice restaurants close, we ate out. So close to the water in a nice neighborhood. So quite.

This place was a great retreat while in the Pacific Grove area. There were many great restaurants nearby and it was great to be so close to the water!

Property was ideal for four adults and a three year old. The location is fantastic, walkable to downtown Pacific Grove, Monterey, and beaches. Nice restaurants, playground, and museum are all within blocks. 17 Mile Drive through Pebble Beach and Carmel are close. Also, Big Sur and Pfeiffer State park. House is well equipped with basic supplies and top line appliances.

We had easy time of course finding the property very happy though that it has its own garage to park because there is no parking really on the street. There are a lot of neighbors that park around their normally so yes do park in the garage and it's plenty big. The house is absolutely gorgeous! Vintage. Loved it. We went with friends. The house was very clean plenty of towels. There was a total of three couples so it had just the right amount of bedrooms. It was very nice. We will definitely rent it again

This beautiful property served as a GREAT host location for our 40th high school reunion. We were able to accommodate 6 adults nicely in the 3 queen-sized bedrooms. The well-equipped kitchen and living spaces on the 2nd floor served as perfect conversation spots for breakfast and late night gatherings with friends. Not to mention the walk-ability to Lover’s Point and Pacific Trail for early morning runs and Cannery Row. Loved the little touches with rose-patterned silverware and fiesta dining, not to mention well-supplied bathrooms. Such a GREAT stay! Thank You!

Perfect vacation house!
Daffodil house is such a great vacation house! Walking distance to everything, the gorgeous lover’s point beach, yummy restaurants, we even walked to the aquarium! The towel quality was the best I’ve ever had in a rental, fluffy and thick! The only thing I would recommend is adding a couple of fans just in case it is hot. The weather was cool when we were there but if it was any hotter, fans would have been needed to circulate air. Would absolutely stay here again though!

The location is amazing - right up from a sandy beach and a short walk (about 1 mile) to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row. Shorter than that to see some harbor seals and newborn pups! It was about a five-minute walk into the shopping area and about a block to the Museum of Natural History and a lovely little park.
The house was very clean and there were plenty of linens. We appreciated having multiple sitting areas and the kitchen was large and well-equipped. Beforehand, I was not sure where all the bedrooms are, so let me say - two bedrooms and a laundry on the first floor, up a flight of stairs to the kitchen and sitting rooms (and a lovely little deck with a view of the ocean), up another flight of stairs to the very large main bedroom and en suite bath. Easily enough room in that main bedroom for a pack and play if you have a little one, but if you do, you are going to need to watch them closely with all those stairs. The house was perfect for us, with two older children to have private space in the downstairs bedrooms. We just could not have picked a better place to stay. I can't wait to come back.

This was our second time staying at the Daffodil House and we enjoyed it as much as the first time. Plenty of room for everyone in our family of 8 (one infant). The property was extremely clean and almost everything worked as expected (the ground floor bathroom light had a small glitch when trying to turn on). You can walk up Forest for two blocks for the best breakfast/lunch/dinning places.

The house was constructed in the 1980's, so it's not a creaky 100-year old property. It's got large spaces and decent furniture, so we were very comfortable during our stay.
We asked a couple of questions during booking and after our arrival that were never answered, but they weren't anything urgent so I didn't worry too much about the lack of response.
Overall, it was a good place to stay. All three of us agreed that we were happy with the property and would do it again.
