Myself and 5 of my friends stayed here for a bachelorette weekend. The cabin’s location was perfect. You felt secluded but were just a short drive from all the fun stuff at Jim Thorpe. Wayne was super helpful with giving us suggestions of things to do in the area. The cabin was clean and comfortable. I wish we could have stayed longer.

My five highs school friends and I have been getting together for the past 17 years every May, visiting different locations such as Cape May, Cape Cod, National Harbor, Rehoboth Beach, the Hamptons and Lake George and this is the first year that all six of us have said that this is the place that we can come back to every year in the future. This log cabin home has it all and leaves you feeling like you have been wrapped in a warm hug. It is immaculately clean, meticulously decorated and no detail has been overlooked. A short drive from Jim Thorpe for shopping and dining, this cabin provided the best atmosphere to wake up to and to return to at the end of the day. And the pub! We spent our Saturday night in the pub having appetizers, drinks and playing darts and dancing. Other bonuses we enjoyed were the walking paths on the property, the zip line, the firepit and the front porch. It is a beautiful home and the photos don't even do it justice. Thanks, Wayne! We will be back next year!

This cabin is gorgeous. Very clean! Private. Peaceful. Love sipping my coffee on the deck listening to the wind blow and birds sing. Great amenities. Wonderful hosts. Comfortable beds. Plenty of bathrooms. Enjoyed doing a puzzle to the sun shining in the large windows. So relaxing and close to stores and town if you need supplies or like to take a good hike. Hosts are very easy to communicate with.

Even better than the pictures! A fantastic, comfortable cabin with everything you could possibly need. The basement pub is like stepping into a great Irish bar.I highly recommend planning a visit!

We used the property for a bachelorette party. We enjoyed our in house game night in this cozy house. Wayne was very quick to respond to texts. We talked about coming back for future celebrations.

House extremely clean, beds comfortable, close to town. Cooked both nights. Kitchen well stocked with cooking utensils, pots pans. Best house we have rented for a weekend.

This was my second stay at this home. The cabin on dew drop is gorgeous! Would recommend 100%! Location is also great as it is very close to town and Penns Peak.

We had tickets to see a concert at Penn's Peak and we rented this house for the weekend. It is an awesome house! Very cool and relaxing and very close to our destination. I highly recommend this house and we will be back !

We had a ladies weekend in Jim Thorpe in November, 2022, to visit the area and see the sites. Our group of seven of us had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful log home near Jim Thorpe, PA! The cabin was very clean and had outstanding amenities!

Good weekend house needs more tv’s

The cabin was beautiful, comfortable and had an extremely well stocked kitchen. Highly recommend this property!

Owners of the property were always quick to get back to any emails or questions. Property was lovely and very well kept. The cabin offers a lot, especially in ways of amenities and things to do. We do not have one complaint regarding our stay. It was exactly as pictured and exactly what, if not better than our expectations. Great hosts, great property, great cabin, great location!

My kids and I rented this cabin for a week. We have stayed in the same neighborhood in years past and love the location. The house is a beautiful place and just as promised in the listing. The host is excellent and extremely responsive. I cannot think of a single negative. Future renters - please respect the host’s “rules”. They are very reasonable and easy to follow and will help insure this property remains available!

Came with a slightly larger group of 8 which the owner accommodated without any issue. Temperatures outside that weekend neared 90 but the window AC units kept everything cool inside. Bar is very authentic and sets this place apart and was the driving reason we selected this propety, but the other aspects of this cabin did not disappoint! Also, the owner is very organized and provides in advance just about anything you would need to know about the house or area to have a wonderful stay. For how much house you're getting, the rate is very reasonable too.

This house was even nicer in person than the pictures. It had all the ambiance of a log cabin but with all the modern finishes. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and more. And of course we loved hanging at the bar in the basement, drinking and playing darts! The house is on a semi secluded wooded lot about 10 minutes from Main Street Jim Thorpe. Sitting on the porch to enjoy morning coffee was the best. But then we were close to ships and restaurants too. Great communication from the home owner. We will definitely try to stay here again.

My children loved walking in the woods and playing on the treehouse. We took family bike rides along the D&R trail, and enjoyed exploring downtown Jim Thorpe. Absolutely gorgeous cabin. So relaxing. Porch was amazing. Basement made me feel like I was back in Ireland. Awesome amenities. Could have spent the whole time checking out the many beautiful things that decorated this cabin. Conveniently close to town and any stores you needed to pick up items.perfect!

What a great place to stay! The house was incredibly clean and labeled so that you could easily find things. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed having our own pub especially when the snow forced us to stay inside. The owners are kind and helpful, I can’t wait to book another weekend there!

Okay so if old downtown Jim Thorpe isn't one of the coolest places in the Poconos I don't know what is. The quaint charm of the non-chain shops and pubs and restaurants is a big draw for me. Plus, you have the scenic vistas, climbing, walking, rafting, and, for my family, skiing. So on top of all that here is this cabin in the woods. The photos don't do it justice. It's immaculate, well decorated, and a fun house for a family that likes to be together. And if that's not enough, then you go into the basement... and when you see the pictures of a FULL IRISH PUB that is NO JOKE. There is a FULL IRISH PUB IN THE BASEMENT!! As a huge fan of pubs and longtime traveler to the UK/Ireland, spending time listening to Irish music, playing darts, and making drinks at the end of the day was a special treat. If this is your thing, you won't be disappointed. Definitely coming back to this house next year. Maybe it'll become an annual event!

Overall very nice house. We would have liked if the driveway was plowed as it was a sheet of ice and 2 of us fell bruising ourselves and 1 of us could not get her car up the driveway and ended up getting it stuck. Will visit in the spring next time.

Enjoyed our second visit to the log cabin and plan to come back! Beautiful home, easy to feel at home and relax, and the basement was fun for all. Easy drive to skiing for the day. Our only trouble was ice on the roads in the neighborhood as we were leaving, so be prepared for winter weather conditions!
