Plenty free on street parking, plus parking lot in rear of property. A stones throw from for Cullercoats beach, with Whitley bay and Tynemouth a short walk. Co-op at the end of the street very useful. Sizeable bedrooms and beds very comfortable, excellent wi-fi and a fabulous tea-pot

only a fridge rather than fridge/freezer/ice-box in the kitchen

lovely location and very good value for money. Did have difficulty getting the key but I had been given the wrong code and once we managed to get the correct code it was fine

IThe cleanliness needs to be addressed. At the outside back door is grubby .The floors didn't feel clean and there was a musty smell in the house We also found a cup of coffee in the microwave.I feel the place needs a little attention.

living area not cosy - fire didn’t work and furniture arrangement meant tv viewing difficult and use of table a bit cramped. also needed some mugs and more spoons!

Location perfect, spacious beautifully decorated space. Fresh seaside themed decor and beautiful large windows. Host was responsive and quick to solve our issue.

No toiletries provided. Bed collapsed, although this was sorted quickly, it did taint the holiday. Unaware of stepped access to front door.

Just as described. Comfortable beds for a good nights sleep. Proximity to beach and corner shop coop 1 minute away round the corner

No forewarning the fridge was one without a freezer compartment.

Great location, dog friendly

This is a comfortable property on the whole. Comfy beds, lots of soft furnishings and blankets. The kitchen is well equipped. It is in a really good location for this stretch of coastline

There was a pretty major housekeeping issue when we arrived. This was rectified within a couple of hours by the owner with profuse apologies. The floors also did not appear to have been cleaned well, we found cornflakes under the table and if you took your shoes off it felt sticky. We did not raise this with the owner as we weren't staying long

Apartment was lovely. Good location for beach and where we needed to be. Everything you needed really.

It was quite cold outside but heating was off when we arrived quite late. Easy fix to put the heating on but took a while to warm up... only bad point. Rest of apartment was lovely.

The property was very conveniently located to visit family and for local walks especially to the beach.

The apartment was not as clean as we expected. The upstairs washing machine was very noisy. It would have been good to have hand towels as well as bath towels and some soap. The container was empty in the bathroom

Everything was perfect. It was home from home. We had all the facilities we needed during our stay. Host was most accommodating when we were stranded and needed to check in ASAP with our poorly son. We needed clean standards for him, self catering facilities and comfort and this place had it all. The surrounding area is also lovely,Immaculate and people take pride in the area,no litter around or rubbish dumped. Shop and beach are on the doorstep. It really was everything we wanted and needed. If you like to feel at home when away then this is the place. The host was extremely kind and understanding and got back to our request ASAP

Stupid things but can help make things even better... a bath mat I'd swap the TV in the corner by the kitchen door. We only noticed this as we had to live like hermits and use the accommodation like a home, others on holiday probably dont even turn the TV on.

Location was ideal and parking no issue. Everything you needed in the house and it was warm and cosy.

I would have liked an info pack with things like local recommendations, sights etc and also instructions on things like recycling.

Fantastic apartment wouldnt hesitate booking again.

Near beach, near food shop. Very good comunication with lovely owner. We had everything what we needed. No problem with dogs

Its difficult find something wrong

It's a great place to use as a base to explore the N.E. coast. Cullercoates Bay is literally across the road at the end of the terrace and we loved it. It's a charming little bay and great for an early-morning dip - it's a popular cold-water swimming venue - or a run across the sands and over to Long Beach. Through the day there are paddle board classes and kayaking for kids, also. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped, the bathroom was very new and modern, and the decor of the bedrooms (shabby chic) - was attractive. There is a good Co-Op at the end of the next street, just 5 min. away.

The dining/living room might be a bit snug for a family of four but was fine for our needs.
