We really enjoyed our stay at Dave’s Cozy Cabin! Location was tucked away but close to everything we enjoy about Ludington!

This is our second time staying at the property and we love the coziness of the home! So close to Hamlin Lake and a short drive to the State Park & Town.

Perfect place for solitude and rest with easy access to the beach and downtown. Wonderful!

Dave’s comfy cottage is perfectly named. It is a very cute, comfy cottage decorated with pictures of the local lighthouses. Great place for a family stay. Back country dirt road was perfect for taking our dog for walks down. Enjoyed seeing families of turkey crossing through. Loved the quiet and peaceful back yard with awesome fire pit. It was perfectly located just outside of the busy tourist area and close to the state park for us to enjoy. No central air conditioning but with the window air conditioner running, 2 ceiling fans and 3 plug in fans they provided we were very comfortable inside on our hot summer stay. Loved having a washer and dryer! Would for sure stay here again if we come back to the Ludington area in the future!

This was a great cabin.

The cottage was very spacious and comfortable! Nice size refrigerator and very comfortable bed in master bedroom. The bunk beds in secondary bedroom would be awesome for children. Kitchen was nice and the tv worked great. Very cute cottage and very quiet and peaceful. Saw deer numerous times. The back yard was awesome with campfire pit, two picnic tables ,and many yard chairs. Great place to stay. I would like to have an outside water valve and hose. Did have outside electric plug in which was awesome for charging my Bass boat batteries. Beautiful state park 8 minutes away with a great boat launch and numerous trails and beaches on Lake Michigan and lake Hamlin. My girlfriend and I caught many smallmouth bass and a six and seven pound fresh water drum. We had a great time and would go back!

Location might be questionable for some, but it was just what we wanted. Quiet neighborhood, away from the hustle. But, just 10 to 15 minutes away from everything else. Just a short walk to the North Bayou of Lake Hamlin to take in some amazing sites. The only thing missing was a hammock, and I have my own and should of brought it. Overall, a great stay.

Management was amazing to work with on short notice. Let us check in little early as we arrived faster than expected. Well kept yard, nice washer/dryer, and enough space for a family. Really enjoyed how close it was to downtown area as well state park.

The house has pretty much everything you would need and a lot of little bonuses. The washer and dryer were a big plus on a week long stay. The house is in good shape and clean enough. The furniture is very dated and worn. The backyard is nice, but it's very buggy and the firewood wasn't really dry enough to burn - it smoked a lot and the wind kept swirling until we gave up. The area is a heavily wooded residential area pretty close to the state park, beaches, and a little further from downtown Ludington, but not too far. The only issue we had was the door knob which totally stripped internally, preventing us from entering the house when we got home one night. It took a phone call to one manager who didn't answer and never called back and another who was 45 minutes away, but was very apologetic and brought a physical key for us to use the rest of the week. Assuming they replace the door knob, I would absolutely stay here again.

The cottage was very clean and came equipped with all the amenities. It was on a secluded wooded lot with a very private feeling from the neighbors. It had a nice fire ring, and we stayed up late making s’mores. We would definitely like to stay here again.

Very nice cottage, clean and has everything you need for cooking, cleaning, everything! Fires every night was very nice! Having wood available right on property was also very nice! Had my daughter and my Husband with and we all had a great stay!

Nice cozy cottage that is kept up well and is very close to Hamlin Lake and Ludington State Park. It comes well equipped with towels/wash cloths, sheets/blankets and kitchen utensils and supplies. We enjoyed the firepit each night and it's nice they provide firewood. Smooth and easy booking and arrival.

My husband and I, along with our German shepherd, had a great time. Cottage was clean and close to the state park. Lots of fresh towels and linens provided. If you're bringing your dog, just a heads up, there's a road right behind the property. We had a long line, so no issues. Would stay again 😀

My husband and I had a great 5 day get away. This is a perfect location. It's near everything local. It was extremely hot this week so we spent every afternoon at the beach. The cabin is very neat and clean. I especially like the attention to detail. They thought of everything you may need; like a rain poncho, market basket,cooler,fishing poles, umbrella,life jacket,sun hat etc. A nice fire pit with plenty of wood. The only negative the bed was very uncomfortable. I had difficulty sleeping and woke up every morning with a back ache. Other than that, it was a wonderful time

Everything needed for a great weekend is at your fingertips! The house is well stocked, plenty of firewood for great bonfires and great location. They provided tons of suggested activities and maps. We would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at this adorable cottage! Communication with the property owners was easy & prompt. Everything was clean and we felt cozy! Nestled between two quiet roads right in the woods made us feel like we were camping, but with all the amenities right inside! Would highly recommend to anyone with children as well. We had three little ones in tow & they loved our home base to all the great things Ludington has to offer.

It was a cute cottage that for our fit our family of 4 perfectly! We loved that it was peaceful and quiet. Plus it is close to fun things in Ludington and the beach. One great perk was that they provided everything we needed inside for a comfortable stay.

We loved our stay! We've stayed at a lot of rentals in Ludington and this is a gem. It's spacious (for a cottage! :) ) - you can walk around the beds in bedrooms, more than 1 person can fit in the bathroom if needed, plenty of space in the living area, etc. The outdoor area is peaceful, it's a great location - out of town but easy drive to get there or state park. The only real con is there is only a/c in the "second" bedroom - my kids stayed cool, but we needed to use the box fan at night. We will be back!

This was the perfect , cozy cottage for a couples get away !! We brought our boat so the location was PERFECT for us !! Exactly 1 mile from one of the boat launches on Hamlin Lake , within 15 min from downtown ludington and ludington state park . Very clean , well stocked , so many towels and the washer/dryer was perfect for post - Lake day towels ! The cottage is tucked away in trees so it truly felt like a “getaway” . We will definitely come back to stay again !!

Wish we had been there on different circumstances. We were attending my brother's memorial who drowned in November. The accomadations were everything and more! We did not need for anything. Will definitely come again to this property when we return to Ludington. Our family tradition just got better💗
