I ADVICE ALL WHO READ THIS DO NOT BOOK AT OCEAN ROCK VILLA IF YOU WANT GREAT SERVICE AND BASIC SERVICE. There was no running water and they DID NOT PROVIDE ALTERNATIVE of water. THEY KNEW THERE WASN'T WATER BEFORE CHECK IN BUT KEPT SILENT AND DID NOT INFORM ME. THEY REFUSE TO GIVE ME A REFUND FOR THE LAST DAY BECAUSE I LEFT AND BOOKED AT A HOTEL FOR RUNNING WATER. THEY ARE LIARS. THEY PICTURES ARE MISLEADING (THERE IS NO ROOFTOP WITH OCEAN VIEW ON BACKGROUND) LIES THE HELPERS DID NOT PROVIDE WATER TO USE WHILE THEY HAD WATER ISSUES. They did not change bedding from previous day (could see yesterday's stains) I found woman hair yet I was traveling alone.

There was nothing interesting

Everything. The house is like a family house , not for guests. We were welcomed by a boy who was walking bare foot and he was very dirty. The room was totally different from pictures, the house had the old smell.The yard was very dirty yooo it was a nightmare.

We absolutely loved our stay at Ocean Rocks Villa, Umhlanga and were impressed by the cleanliness at such short notice.

The house is spacious with a lovely blue couch.

- There are no chairs or picnic blankets in the pool area - Housekeeping does not come every day to change towels, provide tissues, or change linen if needs be. - The fridge had a leak which caused some of our food to deteriorate. - The water from the main bedroom could not be drained after bathing due to a blocked drain, the owner was aware and said there were no service providers available to attend to it. - All restrooms are downstairs, and there are not enough bathrooms especially if you're a group of 12 and one bathtub couldn't be used as it was blocked.

I liked the view from the house.

The television was giving us problems when we reported it to one of the the staff,they never came back to look at it.

A real home away from home. Staff accommodated us really well.

The parking was very limited.

I would have liked is the ocean view but the photos of the property showed a superb place it was definitely not clean yes but shower no door or curtain. Showered once in two days before my daughter did, and there was a flooding of water to reach the room floor.

I was sharing the room with my daughter in the two days I was there. She had a shower in the two mornings we were there no flooding happened when I showered the last morning we were there before her there was flooding. The fact that there was no shower door. We had to use a mob - which didn't work in the flooding. What we saw when we moved in was the opposite of what we saw in the photos. No blinds or curtain on the main glass door difficult to sleep with the outside lights fully laminating the room. We saw a kitchen on the photos but there was no kitchen to see on our arrival. What we think happened is the guy showed other units in his property which were superb and we didn't get and led us to believe the mismatch. So we were disappointed even with contacting the landlord there were vague explanations about everything we tried to slove with him. So I hope Mr landlord this is going to help you improve or respect people who don't have the colour of your skin.

The location was near all the amenities.

They need to look into their parking.space. At least there must be shades for cars to park under or at least carport.

It was spacious

Bad communication we didn’t know where the keys was even though I let them know what time I will be there. I even messaged when we landed and yet no one was there I had to call. Poor poor Wi-Fi we had to use a my fi router for our own cost on our phones cause the Wi-Fi hardly worked and the tv was connected to it. So it sucks! Bad parking We never know where to park and it’s not like people parked properly. One night we came home parked where there was space and got a call at 6 am to move that’s not fair at all No fore warning about the building and early morning noises

The Location was great and easy to find. The location also allowed me to go for a jog and it is a friendly environment

The fact that there were people who started working just outside the door I was sleeping at 05h00 in the morning really affected my stay at the venue. In as much as the venue was great that spoiled my stay, instead of resting I had to wake up.
