The location was quiet and it was a short walk to the village. There was plenty of space for a group of 5 plus with enough dinnerware and glasses.

Despite the photographs depicting the property as well appointed and tidy, it is quite tardy and needs some care, inside and out. The interior of the house was mostly dusty and quite grimy in areas, it generally appeared as though it had a brief wipe over. The bathrooms could do with some general repair, but more importantly the showers need a really good clean, both showers had a considerable amount of mould and the doors were coated in soap scum. One small tired looking towel per guest was provided and they all had a stale odour. For a two night stay one small towel per guest was awkward, although it was noted Spa towels were provided. Note there are no washing or drying facilities at the property. The group agreed since the overall standard of cleanliness of the property was generally poor we were not tempted by the outdoor spa pool. Each bedroom did have a heating source which was appreciated as the nights were cold, however extra blankets were not provided and the mattresses were not fitted with any top layer of bedding i.e. mattress cover/topper which added to the chilliness. The windows were all dirty inside and out and the front bedroom windows were mouldy. The wood fire was set ready to light and wood was provided in an indoor basket, however there was only enough for one evening (6pm to 10.30pm) and the outdoor basket on the deck was empty. Our stay was Friday evening through to Sunday morning, 5 guests in total. Saturday morning the gas source which provided hot water and cooking facilities ran out part way through morning showers. We were grateful to the team that answered our call and arrived within 20mins to connect up a temporary supply via a 5KG BBQ bottle. But we would question how the gas supply of 2 x 45 KG LPG bottles run so low, when were they last checked? Sadly, we will not be returning to this property and I would not recommend a stay here unless the general presentation level was attended to.

Location good and house was in good condition but felt it was overpriced.

Wasn't enough complimentary items for the cost and never left enough starting equipment for the open fire. Also the TV was to old and kept stopping.

Lovely spot with a rural feel. Walkable to town and loads of wineries. Nicely furnished and nice bathrooms. Spa was great.

Fireplace was great but there was only kindling and huge logs, nothing in between which made it a bit of a mission.

I’m not sure if the Spa pool was on a timer, SUNDAY night we hopped into the spa pool and it was Luke warm, not sure what happened. The towels were a little old and there was a mouse in the house.
